Chippy Chaps in Teignbridge

Cod was disgusting, chips were the same, older member of staff was swearing out loud in the background and a terrible attitude to anyone who came near him. Went in this place 3 year's ago when a married couple had it then, sad to say it's gone downhill alot since then and I won't be going in there again

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a fish and chips place.Staff was incredibly rude and managed to forget my order, they even forgot another order before mine so I can only assume this happens often.After waiting for 20 minutes, the sea food basket was definitely not worth the price, cod bites were very dry. Worst cheesy chips I’ve ever had. I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Delicious fish and chips, huge portions and reasonable prices!

Afraid to say staff weren't that engaging and looked miserable.. perhaps they have been busy since they are advertising for more staff. Didn't get full order, as they left out our (kids) drinks. Didn't even get offered a choice when ordering come to think of it.No forks or cutlerly in the take away bag and no sauce or other condiments ok on the side.You are better off walking further up and getting food from other outlets closer to the beach.

The owner claimed to have the best chips in the area. I think he needs to visit a real chippy and get some lessons because the chips were dried up 2 hour old tooth-breakers where you can only eat 50% if you are lucky.

Lovely little chippy. Amazing friendly staff. Nice touch, giving our dog a sausage! Good fish, cods roe & chips.When we're here again it'll be another visit without a doubt

Lovely food here served by wonderful friendly people. The staff here are always happy and smiling and also chatty. The food is amazing chips are never greasy and always cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this chip shop for both value for money and amazing food. Give them a visit.

Been going to this chip shop for years , even before the present owners always been brilliant fish and chips always loved the curry sauce and it hasn’t changed ! Lovely owners always very talkative . I have wonderful memories of Dawlish Warren with my late mum so glad it was taken over and revamped and remains a great fish and chip shop !
