Just great! We slept here 3 nights (one night longer than originally planned). Spacious room and very quiet in the night. The dog liked it as well; especially the garden. The nearby coast is great as well. We did some nice walks there on the "coastal path".Breakfast was also great. Best we had.

Had a cracking stay at the Cockhaven Arms. Food was absolutely fantastic! We spent two nights here at not once did we consider finding another venue to eat/drink at. The options for the inclusive breakfast were varied and between the 6 of us, there was not one complaint.... we even ended up taking part in the music quiz on the Friday night! Oh, and there was a good selection of draft beers and ciders too! 😀

We stayed for 3 nights for my son's wedding. The room was lovely Being well appointed and V clean . Our room had a huge stand alone bath as well as a good sized shower. All the staff where brilliant and couldn't do enough for us and all the other wedding guest's .The photo is the view from our bedroom.

Excellent place. Really peaceful in the garden. Good standard 'pub food'. Service was a little slow considering it was quiet, but it wouldn't put me off going back again. I like the place !

This was an absolute gem!Just looked on booking.com for accommodation near Teignmouth and it brought up this beauty!!Very quaint pub in what seemed to be the middle of a housing estate with plenty of parking! We were only staying one night but we wished it was longer!!The room was quite small but very cosy and had everything we needed! Kettle, tea/coffee and biscuits plus a TV.The ensuite had a bit of a strange sliding door which wasn't a very good fit and not sound proof at all...that was the only thing I didn't like!!But the shower was Fantastic!!We checked in at about 4pm and we had pre booked a table to eat at 6pm as we were going to see a show in Teignmouth which started at 8pm.The food was excellent.Quite a small menu but that usually means the food is going to be good and it certainly was!!!All the staff were very polite especially the very young waiter...what a lovely young man he was!!We came back to the bar for a drink after the show. It was busy as it was quiz night but there was a lively atmosphere as there were a lot of locals in.We had a lovely nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. The room was nice and warm and it was very quiet. We had breakfast in the morning, lovely choice and again very nice food.We will definitely go back!!

We were staying in the village for the weekend so booked a table for Saturday night. The food was amazing. I had a prawn and smoked salmon salad and it was the best I've ever had. Really filled me up. Hubby had steak which was equally as delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. We will return next time we are in the area

We booked and stayed in a gorgeous room with a balcony, so lovely. The pub has stunning features....and run so well, all the staff were very polite, friendly. They worked really hard. They all work so well as a team too.And its a big building ......Little area that need attention.

We stayed here for a few nights in one of the newly decorated rooms and it was lovely. Great decor, a comfortable bed and a great stylish bathroom with a fantastic shower. As the room was on the ground floor it was easy to come and go via a separate door which was great as we had a dog to walk early each morning. The breakfast was also very good with a selection of cereal, fruit and hot choices. We ate in the pub one evening and the food was very good - the best we experienced of neighbouring pubs. The staff were very friendly and it all made for a very enjoyable and relaxed stay.

The location was ideal for exploring the parts of Devon we wished to visit. The room was extremely comfortable and modern. The food menu was as expected, but the service and dinner were both of a high standard. The breakfast which was included, was as good as if gets. I couldnt fault anything. Will go back again at some future point.
