Really lovely selection of good tasting coffee and very accommodating, knowledgeable staff. My partner doesn't drink coffee and enjoys many of their other options too! Hot chocolates, fruit smoothies, frappés! The actual building is nicely decorated too with lots of comfy chairs and plenty of space inside. All in all, a great place for coffee. You could say it's #1!

The A board outside the cafe has a photo of a cake with a blue and white jug of custard. This tempted me inside to have tea, cake and hot custard.I gave my order to the person and said hot custard please. When I picked up my order I inquired where is the jug of custard? The person said I should have read the small print which states there is no jug of custard! Was I supposed to stand in the cold and wind , bending down to the pavement to see if there was small print? Take the photo of the jug of custard off the photo please. This is misleading the customer and very disappointing.

Been going for years and always good but post covid the staffing and products are inferior to before. Not as clean either. Also some of the adverts for products are misleading and include small print! Very worrying and we no longer feel like customers and more like cattle. Many alterntive shops in town to this one.

Always a pleasure to visit for eat in or take away. The staff are always friendly and helpful and there is always a great atmosphere. The food and drinks are always fresh.

Lovely coffee shop, friendly efficient staff, great variety of drinks and snacks and nice environment

Situated right in the centre of town, this popular meeting place serves various coffees, lattes, cappuccino, teas and hot and cold snacks, there is a variety of seating available from individual chairs to sofas, space is generous and you don't feel your sitting close next to other people, my only gripe is it's quite dark inside and the coffee goes cold quickly, there is outdoor seating for the brave and Hardy.

Should be called coffee number 1 as apparently a hash tag has a completely different message nowadays, besides, my mum makes the best coffee so it would have to be coffee no 2. Although, those little sachets from pound land are still better imo.

I work with adults who have autism and each time we have stopped by for a coffee we have had the pleasure of being served by a very nice chap called Elliott . He always seems very pleasant and always treats my folks with the care and respect they derserve but dont always get. He is a credit to you and i hope he goes far .

During a recent holiday in Devon, I came across this coffee shop. It was a brand I'd never come across before. Totnes was my first experience of their filter coffee. Great taste. Then in a visit to Newton Abbot, I discovered another branch. Another good cup. Plus, they stopped serving at 11 am for 2 minutes to acknowledge Armistice Day. It is the first time I've been in a shop when both staff & customers have stood in silence. Well done and credit to those behind this gesture.

Shabby chic industrial loft ish design good selection of cheesecakes etc. Enjoyed a large cappuccino with a giant toasted teacake. Reasonable price and friendly service. No pressure on you to leave at all. Have been again since first visit.
