Costa Coffee in Teignbridge

Decided now on a visit to Teignmouth that We will take our own tea /coffee flasks and take our own foldaway seats.The hardworking staff at this Costa are wonderful and don’t have the time to notice the smelly backpacker taking up a whole corner of the establishment and getting a hot water refill for one of the two teapots left behind by previous customers .Then the mother pushing a pram going to the toilet from off the street to change and dump a baby’s nappy ..but had to wait 10 minutes for the backpacker to finish whatever business he had in there.In Teignmouth free public toilets unlike rip off Torbay are available .I just don’t like to see good & little coffee shops been abused !!

Not much choice in this seaside town but if you need a coffee.....

When in Teignmouth we prefer the independent coffee shops but called in to use our rewards points on the special hot chocolate with peppermint aero which was very good.

Great, friendly service with the usual Costa quality.

After a lovely walk around Teignmouth, popped in to Costa for coffee an cake,warm welcome,felt safe and will go back.

Looks like need cleaning more and when staff touch the money then after they do not wash their hands and do coffee touch lid and slow services dirty toilets COSTA need check this place

Stopped here for a coffee. Staff were charming and my white hot chocolate was delicious

Dropped in for a coffee and a bite to eat, both were nice as were the staff.

Can’t bring my self to give less than 5 stars on this establishment .I do love Costa Coffee .The Male manager was attentive and perfect as always .I realise Costa in common with lots of services like this often have a challenge getting employees that really care about the customer .Today I went in with a friend while our 2 wives were to follow on .The shop wasn’t full in anyway in fact customers coming in were mostly takeaway .At about 3.45 pm We heard our wives coming in and ordering but the lady that was taking the order obviously made it clear she wasn’t happy at the time the order was made .Our ladies said we won’t be long.They sat down and the female employee came and surrounded us with her sweeping brushWe four were having a good conversation yet the employer kept screeeching…..the chairs with some force .Obviously it was annoying and really destroyed our coffee experience .In hindsight we should have asked for a refund and left leaving the drinks behind .The male manager is always lovely .Hopefully the unhappy agitated female employer will move on soon .

Had lunch here which was good. The chap who served us was friendly and also took in a delivery and cleaned the loo to a high standard. We'll done that chap
