Crab Shack on the beach in Teignbridge

A lovely fish menu , fresh from the water right next door. I had the Linguine (with Chorizo in the sauce which was delicious) and my wife had a crab sandwich, which was much better than it sounds. The service was good and I would thoroughly recommend dining here, lunch or dinner. Good range of beers as well as wines.

We had another amazing meal at the Crab Shack . Beautiful food and many options to cater for food intolerances. We were waited on by Josh who truly is a great asset to the team . Will be back soon .

Delicious food served very well and attentively.We shared the mussels from the Teign river as starters, they were cooked to perfection and the cream sauce was delightful.Then I had the catch of the day (a dover sole) which was to die for. Cooked extremely well and so easy to remove the bone (didn't get one bone in my mouth).My wife had the crab main. It was very good although not what she had expected. The crab is served cold and on a January evening she would have liked a warm dish. Would be delicious in summer.Highly recommend the Crab Shack.

Perfection in cuisine served with perfection!The food was superb. Fresh fish to die for. My wife’s crab linguine was cooked to perfection. My haddock and chips was really tasty and was prepared in a batter so light it was fabulous.The cuisine was perfectly coupled by the service from Igor and Josh. They were spectacular. Never noticed until beckoned or needed. Owning the room with ease. Polite, courteous, professional and knowledgeable.Also, upon other guests leaving, COVID cleaning was exemplary,Easily the best meal experience we’ve had for a long while but don’t take it from me. Just go…....Thank you gentlemen. We WILL definitely see you again…....

Lovely location overlooking the estuary. Sunset as we were eating. Nice fresh fish. Delicious and well presented starters with layers of flavour that was not quite carried through to the main courses. Still a nice meal, but given the cost of our meal you would expect a bit more. We spent £100 with one drink each. Generous portions and friendly staff.

Lovely lunch with friends. Been meaning to visit this place for years and wish we’d gone sooner! Everything the 4 of us had was perfectly served and delicious. The mild November weather meant we could enjoy eating outside too! Just perfect. The service- thank you Josh - was superb 😊

Extremely tasty sea good dishes, with an excellent and friendly service. But book ahead as it gets full quick.

This is a fantastic little seafood restaurant. The hot platter and lobster/prawn roll were amazing. Also loved the Cremante fiz to accompany.

If you love seafood this is a great place to try. Good selection of food and drink. Went for dinner and had the dressed crab and fish and chips which were delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere, lovely staff with a great view. This place has become a favourite and I’ll certainly be back. Thank you for the lovely experience.

This restaurant never disappoints. We were a table of 5 celebrating a 30th Birthday. From the fabulous fresh scallops and muscles for starters to Crab Shack's very own fish and chips. Top quality produce prepared and cooked to perfection by a chef who knows just how to champion seafood with complementary flavours and presentation. We will continue to return to this awesome venue.
