Dartmoor Halfway Inn in Teignbridge

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Campsite itself was lovely and cleanand well maintained . It has individual pitches which was great but as for anything else I wouldn't recommend it. The grass area was very small and our tent was just edging onto the gravel area that was meant for the car. Our tent is only a small.5 man one .The toilet block only had one toilet for a site of 25 pitches and two showers that when you used them flooded the toilet block. Also smelt of sewerage most of the time.

Nice site - had a pleasant stay - all pitches have electric and are nicely shielded from one another with hedges - only major down side was no O2 signal and no available WiFi unless you frequent the bar.The bar was lovely - nice and warm and welcoming but a tad pricey with a double vodka and Diet Coke and a pint of lager coming in at 12.50!!The facilities were clean and warm - please bear in mind we were there when the site was only a third full so no issues with the size of the facilitiesBut if you were here in the summer when it would be busy I think there may be an issue with the number of toilets on siteAll the above said and done we had a lovely break with no issues and despite the weather we enjoyed it
