Fingle Glen Golf Hotel Restaurant in Teignbridge

Lovely location for a relaxing break. Very handy for a break, and not too far from home to travel. Lovely lodges set in a quiet location but fully equipped with modern furnishings at very reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff with onsite restaurant and bar. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place for a weekend break or even a long term holiday, lovely lodges, friendly staff, very welcoming, been two weekends in a raw and will definitely return again. Massive gold club. Prices really reasonable and food very delicious and cheap. I would recommend.

As always here, fabulous friendly and welcoming staff. A great venue. Good food. Clean and comfortable hotel rooms. GREAT breakfast.My only reason for dropping one star is because of the noise levels from the function rooms. We were part of a wedding group ourselves, but the extreme volume of the band and the disco until nearly 2am meant no sleep if you went to bed earlier than this. Why could the function room doors not be closed? or the volume turned down somewhat after midnight?Having said this, we would stay here again as overall it is a really nice venue.

Great wedding reception hosted by an attentive staff. Beautiful location and well stocked bar. The rooms could use a little work with some better mattresses. Bring your own pillows if you are an overnight guest, as the ones in the regular rooms and lofts we're rather flat. Overall a pretty good visit.

Good budget accomodation. Stayed in lodge. Lodges are bigger than expected and bed was comfortable although friends who were staying in another lodge said theirs weren't. Not super clean but adequate. Could benefit from a more thorough maintenance check. Space worth the money as we were only staying a weekend to attend an event, but probably wouldn't book this for a family holiday.

I attended the hotel for a work conference. The room upstairs was tidy and once the heating was on warmed up quickly. Bar staff were friendly serving coffee first thing, then a delicious and varied buffet lunch with more refreshments. We've used this venue quite a few times for work events and it never fails to impress.

Staff were excellent, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately the hotel rooms were in need of a major refurb. There were marks up the walls, stains on the bedding and general wear and tear throughout. The location itself was lovely, and easily accessible. However it's not as convenient as we expected for Exeter itself, and taxi's charge a flat £20 each way. Obviously this isn't the fault of Fingle Glen, but may be something to take into consideration when choosing a hotel in the area.

Lovely quick stop off point. Nice hotel. Me and my partner had a double room. The bed was 2 singles pushed together. However do not be put off by this. You could not tell lay in bed at all and we had a good night's sleep. With that baring in mind it's a golf course hotel and it's mostly men that will stay here so they need to be able to be flexible with guests. Nice smoke house if you're a food lover just a 10 minute driver away and there is lovely scenery near by.

Great value golfing break. We stayed in a lodge which was very well equipped. Food was great and reasonably price. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Golf course wasn't at it's best but it's winter so can't expect too much. Overall very happy group of golfers we were that will definitely be back.
