Great food and great service. Visited after the air show so very long queues outside the take-out, but the service was still really quick and efficient. Sausage ‘n chips for the kids and Lucy art fish cakes ‘n chips for us, tasty. And the best thing for me…. no plastic, they use recyclable cardboard boxes and recyclable wooden forks. Would definitely recommend.

I generally don't leave reviews unless the experience is either outstanding or particularly disappointing. I ordered a large fish and chips. Totalling £11.75 which is by far the most I have paid for takeaway. The chips alone were £3.80, they consisted of a level tray of stale, powdery, cold and limp chips with large quantities of scraps that were aged to the point of many fries. The fish was dry, no moisture being either old as well as over cooked but mainly old. The batter was not great but acceptable. The fish was mainly batter and little fish. The chip portion was at best regular as a as the fish. It ticked two boxes worst and most expensive fish and chips. The restaurant must get it right sometimes as they appear reasonably busy. This is offset by a wait but to be fair it is cooked to order. They may be trading on location but they should not rest on their laurels.

Trading on it's reputation. Waited about 25 minutes for 2 large portions of chips. £3.80 per portion. I would say they were a small portion at best, definitely not freshly cooked either. Felt ripped off and very disappointed. Will definitely not be returning.

A friend of ours recommended this place to us and THANK YOU! Best fish and chips we’ve had. A little bit of a line, but nothing too bad, in fact we made a new friend while in line. The staff was friendly and helpful. We took ours over to the seawall and enjoyed amazing views while we ate.

It's great that some things have not changed after lockdown. Same great food and friendly service. Had Rock & Chips yum yum

Best fish and chips in Teignmouth...you have to queue a while, but worth the wait and also good value for money.Sit on the promenade and eat them overlooking the sea!

·

Reasonable prices, expect a 10 minute wait. Also expect to be greeted by miserable staff, the food tastes like it has been waiting longer than you have drying out under the heat lamp,Witnessed a member of staff having a ho at an old woman because of where she was standing waiting for her order disgraceful behaviour. Also be careful of the trip hazard going into the shop as everyone tripped over on it.

Very friendly staff and brilliant food. We ordered some chips and white bait today, chips are chunky and crispy ,the white bait is fresh and big, covered in light breadcrumbs. Very satisfied with the meal we had today😊

·

Very busy fish and chip shop, so obviously very popular. Good friendly service. The batter was a little thick for my liking but husband and kids liked it, maybe more of a personal preference. Loved the corner street sign whilst we were waiting for our order😁

Bit of a que at the takeaway but this is a good sign of a good local chippy when even the locals are going there. Foolishly i tried to order without me mask on and the server wasn't happy behind the counter and rightly so! But once I got served the chips were tasty and fresh. The fish looks amazing. Eat in available as well as takeaway.
