Hoi Shing in Teignbridge

Checking times. Tonight.I have to say it's the only Local Chinese Restaurant to sit in. The other two are Take Aways. I took a Take Away home. A Beef Curry (sauce a little hot)(not your normal curry sauce, in house made.) and Plain Boiled Rice. Also Fried Noodle (thin type) and Beef (not chow mein) (there are a bits of green pepper, mushrooms, in it) also asked for Bean Sprouts with added onion, (perfect) Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Sauce. (It had in it onions, cucumber, carrots and chucks of pineapple. Got to be made in house and fresh).

Used them twice. First time late. Second time I’m still waiting, 45 minutes late. Can’t get them on the phone. Don’t reply via Just Eat. Won’t be using tgg hi em again.

Poor experience. 1 hour for food when it wasn't busy. Frozen chips, soggy rice. Not ordering here again

My favourite Chinese in Dawlish, much better than any in my home town of Teignmouth

I CANT RECOMMEND HOI SHING TAKEAWAY ENOUGH. OUTSTANDING FOOD, NICE PORTIONS. MIGHT SAY TO MUCH, BUT YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MUCH. QUICK AND RELIABLE DELIVERY,JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR VOLUME ON SO WHEN THEY HAVE ARRIVED TO DELIVER YOU DONT KEEP THE DRIVER WAITING 😉. All in all a fantastic meal.

The best Chinese in Dawlish, both eat in and takeaway are always lovely. Ken is more then accommodating and the food is never greasy. I've been coming here since I was very young and will continue to do so.

We ordered food for collection to eat at home and the food was delicious. I had sweet and sour pork and loved it. My husband had the special fried noodles and really enjoyed it.The only thing for booking a table or ordering for collection is they are not so great at answering the phone shop you're better off going into the restaurant to contact them.

Only went due to it being the only Chinese in Dawlish open on a Tuesday. Waited 30 mins for 2 chow mein dishes. Food was very poor quality, soggy chicken drenched with soy sauce. Noodles were not fresh either.picture is of the food thrown in the bin, no one wanted to eat it! Although I am a local I will not be going there again!

Just had a sit down meal here. Arrived just as they opened, and had the place to ourselves for a bit. The staff were excellent, and if possible, the food was even better. Absolutely delicious. We'd been told to try the smoked chicken starter, which we did, but as a main course, and the kung po chicken. Both were fantastic. I don't know why I'm singling those two out, it was all good. Maybe just my favourites of the meal? Will be returning. We also picked up a takeaway menu, and after a quick read, the takeaway prices are possibly the lowest in Dawlish?
