Jacksons in Teignbridge

Not been here for years but thought I would treat myself as I had more time (Asda car park machines not working!) Thought the cafe area was well spaced out with screens in between each table. Home made fishcakes and tasty chips. They made sure my meal was ok and anything I needed they got. Friendly approach.

Brilliant friendly service. Excellent quality food at a very good price. We will be back.

Outstanding. Fantastic service, friendly polite and efficient. Great food, cooked to order. Simply a great fish and chip experience. Totally recommend it for a good value and great traditional dinner. Five stars and I'll recommend it wherever I go.

I've had disappointing battered fish in the past. Thin slivers of fish in a greasy coating of batter, tasteless fish inside a huge amount of hard batter that made the meal a shrapnel risk for other customers.My experience eating at Jacksons Fish and Chips was a very good one. The fish was tasty and the batter soft and palatable. The portion of chips was just right, the mushy peas tasty.Add the tea for one and it was an ideal meal. I will visit the restaurant again.

Certainly the best fish and chips in Newton-Abbot! Incredibly great fish, chips and everything aquatic in between! Great place where the meals are always piping hot and extremely fresh. The portions are generous as well, lending to a great return for your pounds. Highly recommended for a casual meal or a Friday night in door experience.

Thought about this for a day before posting. Was going to just leave it but...I have only been here once ! So this may not be the norm.Being an actual fish shop had high hopes. Fish was dry and batter soggy.The chips were dreadful.Had to stick the whole lot in air fryer to make it edible.And really the chips were bad. Sorry guys.

Great fish and chips ....helpful and friendly stuff...will definitely be going again
