Jolly Good fish Cafe in Teignbridge

Terrible.We bought some fish and chips, cheesy chips large and small and then took them to the beach. When we got there we discovered that they had not put cheese on the large cheesy chips and the chips were hard and dry. The box tasted better. Not enough salt and vinegar. The only positive were the staff, very friendly but that is where it ends. First time and last time we will buy from there.

Great little chip shop, Super quick service, not greasy, Nice piece of fish, lovely batter. Curry sauce in a great dipping pot. Not over priced....

Freshly cooked no long waiting time. Delicious fish and chips. Would recommend.

My go to fish and chip shop, and I love about 25 minutes away. Always fresh and always tasty

Tiny chip portions, we ordered large and got small and they were dry with little flavour. Vegetarian burger was nice. Attitude from the older staff wasn't pleasant. The young lad serving us was lovely and polite. The fryer and a man further in the back of the premises were both clearly tired of their roles and made us feel like our custom wasn't wanted. This place used to be amazing and a lot of the locals are shocked at how this place has gone downhill since the old owners sold up.

We had cod and chips along with cheesy chips and a haddock.They were pretty average and the batter was soggy.However, the key that served us was really nice. Also, the actual fish was good too.

Fantastic fish and chips, the batter was light and crispy and the chips were cooked to perfection. It was so good we had to go back while we still in the area.

I'm concerned about the chicken burger I had tonight, I pulled it apart after realising it looked raw and found it to appear raw throughout except around the edges. If I'm not sick by the end of the week, I'll change my review.The large cod and chips... My partner said - The batter came away from his fish and was not nice. There was no justification for the tiny portion of chips that accompanied the fish.I did enjoy my chips, they were nice. I'm totally freaking out about the chicken burger though.

Great little cafe/chip shop. It's nice to sit down in a chippy. At busy times book a table because they only have a few tables. The fish was so fresh, chips were golden with good texture. A nice touch with the slice of lemon and a good portion of mushy peas. Top quality. Will deffo be going back.

Great fish and chips at fantastic value. Like supporting our local businesses. Lovely light batter and proper chips.
