We stayed for 1 night in the Wolf Suite. We had a fantastic time; the room was fantastic, its a stunning location, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Every staff member we came into contact with was helpful & friendly. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We are here with our puppy Dougie and they gave him some peanut butter cookies and chocolates where in our room for my birthday.

This was our 4th visit and have already booked for next year. Fabulous place in a great location. Good walks straight from the front door. Highly recommended.

We had bed breakfast and evening meal here as we wanted to visit Castle Drogo nearby, and we were delighted. The staff seemed genuinely pleased to see us and the meals were outstanding. Our room was very comfortable too. Dogs are welcome with a special dogroom including towels, treats, and poo bags! Beautiful walks to Chagford and through the Drogo estate literally on your doorstep. We look forward to a return visit.

Mill End is a perfect setting and the staff are always so polite. Afternoon tea is the best thing here although not available on my visit for 3 days this time! However, very angry that although Covid restrictions have ended, there was no explanation for not servicing the rooms daily. Prices are high and this is expected, this was a birthday stay and didn't expect to make the bed and empty the bins. We were not told this on booking or when we arrived.Breakfast also was disappointing as poached eggs were hard for the first 2 days so on the 3rd day we ordered the Ham and Edam option, only to be served Ham and Cheddar! We didn't book dinner as if the breakfast is not right, why chance dinner?! However, other guests said Dinner was good. Also the last night we were kept awake till 4am with party goers after a wedding and nobody on call or around to deal with it.Trying to be something that it is not, top money for 75% quality! Sorry to say.Craig White, M40 Cars

Afternoon tea at Mill End Hotel, sitting outside in the lodge, lovely food, really helpful and welcoming staff. Dogs are well catered for and can sit in the garden or the lodge and there are fabulous River walks just over the bridge.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Our suite was fabulous with lovely views and really comfy bed! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional and the food was delicious, especially the West Country beef. Good value for money and will definitely be visiting again. A small fridge in our room would have been a helpful addition for water.

Lovely peaceful place. We sat in the garden with our dog Poppy and had a lovely bite to eat. We had scones, sandwiches and a cream tea. The service wasn't fast but I think that was because the scones were cooked fresh. No fuss service, job done. Dog got some tasty treats too. Will go back certainly 👍

The hotel is very well located in Dartmoor and it has a great garden. The rooms were very nice, quiet and equipped with a large and modern bathroom. The service in the bar/lounge as well as for breakfast was very reserved. The breakfast buffet, compared to other hotels in Cornwall, is not recommended. The breakfast selection was quite small and the quality not great. Only filter coffee was served and for a cappuccino you have been charged an extra £3.50 !! Additionally it was particularly disturbing that at check-in a welcome drink was offered, but charged at check-out.
