We had that Sunday afternoon urge for a cream tea on a summer's day. Thankfully, Ullacombe Farm Café hit the spot perfectly!I recommend booking in advance if your heart is intent on enjoying the Sunday roast (which looked delicious, I have to say), as all tables inside were reserved. This didn't matter, as there was ample seating outside in the sunshine. The menu offers an impressive selection of snacks, main meals, and beverages. The cocktail list was intriguing. We opted for the cream tea with mixed scones (one plain, one with fruit) and the bacon, brie and chutney sandwich with an extra pot of Earl Grey. Both were excellent with the scones served with a good amount of jam and cream 😁 and a generous side salad with crisps to accompany the sandwich.I must say the customer service was excellent. Our order was misunderstood, which was completely my fault. The error was corrected quickly and without question, despite the error being totally mine. I was grateful and impressed by the professionalism shown by the staffThe llamas and goats are the true stars with the huge black pigs being a close second.Great food and excellent service in a lovely location. Thank you.

Excellent for a family fun day or just for a meal or drink. Social distancing in place and hand sanitiser on entry. Good food and service. Children's play area, farm shop, a selection of plants and generally a good day out. Excellent value. Have been several times before and close to Haytor with good views over Teign Valley. Update 18 June 2022: No masks or hand sanitising required. Some minor alterations have made it even more appealing, especially for those with younger children who can ride around in the Tractor Barn on pedal tractors. A few cows, pigs and rabbits currently housed safely in there too. Plenty of animals roaming the surrounding fields and around Haytor on Dartmoor. Booking is advisable as it can be very busy.

If you are looking for a big breakfast then this is certainly a place to go. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. The staff are friendly and helpful and provided an excellent level of service. The atmosphere of the place is very clear and it is noted that you should book ahead if you want to eat here as you may be disappointed. On site also has petting animals which you can feed, a farm shop and a butchers all are worth taking a look at.

Absolutely amazing place. Visited for the first time recently and will definitely be returning, ate in the cafe and the staff were incredibly helpful, offered a smaller portion for my son who was 11 months old at the time, all smiling and attentive. Farm shop is well stocked and very well priced too, lots of activities planned for kids over the Easter break too. Looking forward to returning

Came here for a roast on Easter Sunday was amazing. So tasty would highly recommend value for money.. what impressed me the most was the baby changing facilities, so helpful if you needed a nappy or Wipes, I had my own but just thought it was such a nice touch for people that needed it.. my little one loved looking at the lights too in the restaurant such a wonderful place will definitely be coming back.. all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Popular place not too far from Bovey Tracey. Cafe can cater for quite a large number of people and plenty of opportunity for those who want tables for bigger numbers. Food well priced and of a very good standard. Plenty of staff who were polite and friendly.

What a discovery. A family group of 10 of us went for lunch here and had a wonderful time. Despite being an awful day weather-wise outside, the cafe was bright and airy with plenty of room, and a pleasure to be in. The menu was wide ranging, with many specials, and caters well for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan choices. The staff are very friendly and helpful and contributed to a great day. There is also plenty for children to do inside and outside.

OMG this place is amazing. We were 2 very big tables. Half of us had the Roast dinner. It was huge and very well prepared. The others had burgers and things like that. Had a lovely piece of cake. I will return

Nice cafe with a wide selection on the menu. I opted for a burger with pulled pork and chips, it was gorgeous. I was offered sauces and they brought out a sweet chilli and a extra hot one and wow it blew my socks off but didn’t stop me dipping my chips for more. Reasonably prices. There were a play area for younger kids, an ideal stop off if you’re visiting Dartmoor.

Perfect breakfast, lovely attentive staff and beautiful scenery. The woodland walk was very pretty, not pram friendly but not a difficult walk to do with kids. Our new favourite spot.
