Only Eggless in Teignbridge

AVOID!!!! Terrible company, who take your money and do not deliver!! Absolute fraudsters. Check other reviews that say the same. We ordered a birthday cake 2+ months in advance, for a celebration at a restaurant on Saturday, we paid in advance and arranged to have the cake delivered to the restaurant after 12pm. Our reservation was at 6pm and the cake hadn't arrived! We were there until 10pm. We asked the staff at the restaurant several times, including the owner, and they checked with several teams but had not received any delivery. The birthday surprise was spoilt for us and all our guests at the event. We tried calling, whatsapping, direct message on Instagram, etc. since Saturday and we've had no answer at all. How they can do this to people is shocking. Any decent company that may have encountered a genuine issue would have called to advise, to allow us to get another cake etc. in time for the event, and to explain. There's simply no excuse to not deliver a product that has been paid for in full; months in advance, and not contact us. We didn't check reviews as we had bought a cake 2 years ago which was great, except we collected it on that occasion. We never expected in this day and age that a company can behave in such a diabolical manner. We will continue to chase down these people and get our refund plus some.

Only Fraudsters!. Ordered a cake for a birthday and placed the order to be delivered a day before actual birthday to avoid any mishaps! MISHAPS!! The Cake never arrived!!!. I called a number of times, I facebooked, I Instagrammed, I emailed, I whats Apped. Nothing, Nada.Either they dropped my cake and didn't want to admit to it and blocked my number!, or the owner done a runner with my cake and my money. Now it says temporarily closed! What happened run out of Eggs?!!!! I have attached a pic of the cake that never arrived !!!!

Ordering process was good and easy, but it fell down immediately after order. The cake I ordered never actually arrived and on the day of the party I'd ordered it for, I was forlornly trying to get Only Eggless to answer calls and WhatsApps to explain where the cake is. Still heard no reply, so I guess the party is cakeless!

This is cake company is big time misleads to the customer and basically they cheat , my son has birthday today we ordered a cake , we have requested that this must delivered at 5.30 pm but when it doesn’t arrived we called back and we asked for the cake but the advisor who is talking to us is so rude and can not accept that this needs to be delivered at 5.30 or before , we still waiting at home and can not go the party because the cake hasn’t arrived yet ,I have asked him to speak to the Manager but he bluntly replied that he doesn’t know anyone in the company and he is teaching me how to talk , there are few peoples name I have gathered and they I are Aacten , Joyce and few more but such a bad management just to get the customer and take orders but there is no customer service responsibilities, it is so bad that we didn’t have cake on birthday celebration for my son’s birthday, I request you please read this review and do not place orders with this company as they are misleading customer bad time.

Worst cake and very bad delivery service.. who sends a cake without writing any message on it when you have such lot of blank space on the cake (we asked for it). We asked to deliver the cake on 15th Dec not on 14th night. We had ordered this cake for someone in our family and it was a total embarrassment for us. The cake did not taste good at all. It was not even fresh. £55 for this cake, so not worth it….Zero star rating.

Absolutely brilliant! From start to finish it was a seamless process and the quality was OUTSTANDING!Ordered an Elsa frozen cake for a birthday in my family all us love it.Nice vanilla sponge with butterscotch cream freshly made.Customer service very polite and recommended me this flavour.Will never go anywhere else from now on!Well done ONLY EGGLESS👏👏👏👏👏

Awful experience with Only Eggless/Cakes Today. Would not recommend them especially if things go wrong, as they won’t help to rectify it.Ordered a cake, provided pictures via WhatsApp, they agreed they could make the cake but two weeks later they delivered a cake that looked like an amateur had done it, very unprofessional with missing detail etc so much so that I spent over an hour trying to make improvements before the cake went on display at the party. It was embarrassing to have paid over £100 for such a poorly produced cake.When I contacted Only Eggless, there was no reply from anyone. The following day I got a WhatsApp message saying that they could send me the items missing from the cake but it wouldn’t arrive until 6pm!!! This would be after the party. Needless to say I will not be buying cakes from them in the future, they’ve certainly gone downhill and lost a long time customer. What a shame!Update:please note I’ve emailed the experience email address a week ago, along with calls and WhatsApp messages and there has been no response. The picture speaks for itself. Please look into this and update your comment to share what happened!

Ordered Ferrero Rocher cake from cakes today cake was excellent and very deliciousHard to find such flavoured cakes and that too same day delivery within London.It was a last minute thing for me never expected that will receive such great experience.Will definitely recommend cakes today to all our friends and relatives.Thank you ONLY EGGLESS

Be aware Don't spoil your precious occasion, by only eggless cakei have order cake from only eggless on my son First birthday .when we taste it feel something wrong when made piece we seen fungus inside we have inform them the lady on the phone was keep saying this is just color reaction and you can eat this . but on that we can see clearly fungus and test was very different , i have reported this to the local council and health authority to look in to this matter as it could cause the food poisoning.They ruin my son's first birthday and i like to make sure same thing doesn't happen to any one. I won't recommend this at any time

Initially I bought cake mix for one my friend ... after listening to many good comments so decided to try .. luckily the experience has exceeded my expectation. It’s really delicious. I tried vanilla mix and made some different flavour of cakes . The cake collection in store is awesome and they have very quick delivery
