We had a very enjoyable lunch. The staff were pleasant and food was amazing. This definitely deserves a second visit.

I would have rated this higher because it's situation is fabulous, garden lovely and good coffee. However, if you choose to sit in these lovely surroundings the full menu is not served and your food n drinks are presented in takeaway cups and cardboard boxes with wooden knives and forks. I'm afraid I'm a fan of crockery and cutlery.I would say though, the location means I would go back for coffee.

A lovely tearoom with a beautiful terraced garden! We tried the salmon sandwich and the ham sandwich - both were very tasty and it was great that we could choose the type of bread. We also had chocolate brownies with caramel sauce - one of the best brownies we have ever had. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will visit again when we are back in the area.

Beautiful graden room with peonies, delicious homemade cakes and tasty coffee. An unusual and clever approach to takeaway while also being able to eat-in in the gorgeous garden. Will definitely be back 🎂

Returning 'home' from a Dartmoor tour, we were looking for a place for tea. Off the main road in Lustleigh we found Primrose Tea Rooms. It was like finding a little bit of heaven! Everything about this place is gorgeous. The ambiance, the food (they do lunch as well), the service and value for money, everything about Primrose was faultless. Beware, they are open from Thursday to Sunday only. Enjoy it as much as we did.

Best tea room I've been to in ages. Sat in such a pretty garden, dogs were made very welcome. Sandwiches were fantastic, delicious bread stuffed full of fillings. Cake was divine. Will definitely be back.

Had a really nice afternoon tea here. The portions were very generous and food was tasty and very good quality. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We had a really lovely time here on Sunday. Top notch friendly service, in a bright airy colourful space, the garden is lovely too although we sat inside. Absolutely amazing portion sizes and good value for money, lovely fresh homemade food, great vegan options and the best ever traditional cream tea, plus the most beautiful salad I’ve seen in a long time! Such a stunning location too in a lovey village with gorgeous walks near by, definitely worth the trip. A new firm family favourite, we will be back again soon!

Such a lovely place with helpful, friendly attentive staff. Parking can be a little bit challenging here. So pleased we came here for afternoon tea. Food was just gorgeous. I wish I could have eaten more but alas, stomach didn't want to cooperate in my attempt to be greedy. We had sandwiches, scones and shortbread along with tea and coffee. The fresh produce that made up the side salad was a visual delight and really marvelous for the palette. My first ever experience of the traditional Cream Tea, and I can say that I will definitely cherish the memory. Highly recommended, definitely worth a visit.

Visited here last week and had tea and scones. Absolutely delicious scones with perfect jam and clotted cream. Generous portion sizes and felt totally sumptuous to eat. Take away only service if sitting outside but the tables, chairs and umbrella shades are set in a beautiful little garden with gorgeous flowers (wish I'd take photos of those) - a perfect setting for an afternoon tea break!
