David and Chris were lovely people to see first thing in the morning. So nice to have an actual conversation with people that care and are friendly.

Welcoming staff, which is very helpful when you're stressed with travel. The doors on the outside of the railway station are now closed and you need to go through the ticket barriers in order to enter the cafe. The tea is not great, but they do have vegan milk options and are making the effort to transform the special festive drinks to vegan, too. At the moment the only vegan lunch option I noticed is a vegan sausage roll, but I'm sure this will get better with time.

Very pleasant service from staff member at counter, considering the queue was out the door! Well done, thank you.

When I have to wait for the train to work, wait for a train to go on a trip, I always have to pop into the Pumpkin Cafe! It really helps boost your energy after waking up early. With your standard coffees like Lattes, Cappuccino, Americano, etc. They also do what I usually get flavoured lattes which you can choose between hazelnut, caramel and vanilla flavourings. Pumpkin also do seasonal specials, so the summer you have a lot of frappe coffees to cool off in the blistering heat, during the winter, my favourite: the toffee nut coffee which is gorgeous!!!! Such a nice taste. Pumpkin have a nice range of muffins, blueberry, chocolate and my favourite (not always there) the banana muffin. All are so delicious, moist and full of flavour. The coffee is always made beautifully and for the price you are paying, you save a good amount from the likes of Starbucks and Costa. All of the staff are bubbly and nice. Always really friendly and smiley. There are a few times where Pumpkin ran out of ice so they can't make there specials or frappes but that is to be expected in this weather. They also do pasties and lunch snacks like sandwiches and toasties. A great range of magazines, chocolates and confectioneries. I highly recommend Pumpkin, very good value and nice coffee!
