Lovely gem of a place, worth the walk too along the beautiful Teignmouth beach too. Very friendly people, where nothing is too much trouble.

Visited smugglers cove and popped in, lovely little place right tucked away but has a lot of walkers passing from the beach under the railway line, very nice :)

A great little food spot tucked away near the sea front! If you hope literally over the wall next to the Kiosk you get to witness the gorgeous Devonshire beach

I always feel sorry for this little hideaway cafe. I walk by it many times but usually I've eaten so I never stop. Today I did. It was a glorious day, I hadn't had breakfast and needed some sustenance for my 12 mile walk. I had a cheese, tomato and salad granary roll which was good. It's only a little shack but it's brightly painted and provides egg and bacon rolls, pasties, sausage rolls, tea cakes and ice creams. Not much shelter so it does rely on nice weather and word of mouth by the locals. It's hidden away right at the far east end of Teignmouth/Holcombe beach and has a first hand view of the main railway line which Brunel constructed 150 ish years ago. It's got a limited view as it is in a valley but is unique and needs to be supported. Give it a go. Walk from Teignmouth....a mile and a half....And get closer to dozens of trains whizzing by in very close proximity. Or, as I do, walk on up the hill and go through the lovely village of Holcombe and walk back along East Cliff to complete a circular 3 mile walk. Glorious....
