Carvery was disappointing. Gravy very watery and roast potatoes were deep fried. I did notice however that when we were leaving it looked like there were 'normal' roasties under the hot lamp so no idea what that was all about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return but not for a carvery.

I went there for a wake after a funeral Very nice place also doing what looked like a very nice carvery. Lots of people eating there midweek usually means that it is good value and tasty! Attentive friendly staff makes this a place that I recommend.

Was taken here for mothers day carvery by my daughter and she was taken by her daughter.Had carvery before . Is good so that's why we went again. There was good choice of veg(10 in all). 4 meats to choose 2 from.Been to Ten Tors few times recently. Always enjoy it.

Nice pub, serves a good variety of food. The chicken burger was huge, and delicious! However a couple of meals on our table lacked amount of chips etc. Friendly and helpful staff, we would return.

Lovely place, friendly staff, lovely food, great price. We could of took the dog's which we booked in for then when we went without the dog's they put us on a lovely table in a quiter area. Highly recommended.

I haven't had a carvery for years! We booked here on a last minute craving for a Sunday roast. Very welcoming staff, very busy bar and restaurant but in a cosy, popular local way! Great value lunch. The beef was pink and delicious. Generously sliced with all the trimmings available. Absolutely recommended. The only thing I couldn't see was mustard! But I'll bring a jar next time! Thank you

Unlike most carvery venues The Ten Tors offer a choice of four meats including lamb. Great vegetables. A perfect place for families and friends. The staff are so professional and make you feel very welcome. Value for money, and the best I have had and that is why I'll be going again and again.

Visited in October for a carvery lunch after recommendations from friends and we weren't disappointed.Situated just off the A380, the Ten Tors is a large pub and restaurant serving St Austell and Dartmoor breweries ales. The welcome and attentive service was first class with plenty of available staff who checked if all was OK and answered questions about the Christmas menu. The lunchtime carvery was good with, served meats and help yourself vegetables, potatoes and yorkie puds. It's boasts a large dining area with decorated furniture and two fireplaces. What impressed us both was the hand sanitiser at each table and the plastic gloves provided for use with the carvery spoons. Good covid-19 controls were evident all around including the toilets which were clean and well managed.Dessert was excellent although limited and there is an extensive car park and play area which was open for entertaining the kids, we plan to return again soon. Thanks for a pleasant experience!

The menu might be a little 'traditional' but the food is good and the service great. Recommended!
