This place is consistent and is the best Sunday roast for miles around! Friendly staff, always a good choice of well kept beer and the Sunday Roast is just incredible. We usually have lamb shank which is just lovely, the roast potatoes are bang on, veg fresh, lush Yorkie and the sort of gravy that you just wanna drink from the plate whilst no-ones looking. Best kept secret in Dawlish, you won't be disappointed :) and I've eaten at Smugglers, Ten Tors and I would take a Brunswick roast over any of those carvery's. Keep up the great work!

A great find, a good grub, dog friendly, real ale pub with a traditional friendly atomosephere and the cleanest toilets in Dawlish? Devon? UK? My only disappointment, i havnt found it on previous visits to Dawlish. Were back next visit for sure!

Great local pub. Very friendly staff and friendly locals. Very clean and brilliant food. Great choice on the menu and not to much, something for everyone. Prices reasonable. Came here 14 years ago and it thankfully hasn’t changed much. Really enjoyed my time here. My compliments to the staff and owner
