The Church House Inn in Teignbridge

I had dinner yesterday evening at this lovely pub with three friends. The service was excellent, the food delicious and we had a fab evening. Thanks to all the staff, you're doing a great job.

Amazing food, really generous portions. Great service and not over priced. Would definitely go back.

Arranged to take my family out for Sunday lunch and made a reservation several weeks beforehand.The food was absolutely delicious, I had roast beef and the rest of my family had lamb.Beautiful roast potatoes, good selection of veg, and piping hot served within 15 minutes of ordering.Choice of several desserts, again all first class.The ambiance was relaxing, and quiet.I can highly recommend this pub …..and definitely would happily return again when we are in Shaldon.My grateful thanks to Simon for arranging the reservation, and to the serving staff for their courteousness, and also to the kitchen staff for the excellent meals provided.

We found this place after seeing their sign from a main road. The Sunday roast is amazing and such a lovely pub and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend.

Poor quality Sunday lunch, interior could do with some TLC and not the greatest of welcomes on arrival with staff chatting at the bar oblivious it seemed to customers. I give 3⭐ for location and a nice pint.Sorry you didn't like review but I do have the correct location, maybe you could try your facilities from a customer perspective, I can only say what I see!

Excellent pub , food, staff. What a beautiful pub and location. One of my favourite places to eat and enjoy some excellent beers. I have been here with some large groups of friends. Everyone enjoyed The Church House Inn. TT

I had Sunday dinner with two friends at the Church House Inn at the weekend. We all had the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables (roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, swede, red cabbage and cauliflower cheese). The food was well cooked and the portion sizes very good. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. The pub itself was interesting and we liked the history and ambience. We would all thoroughly recommend and would visit again should we be in the vicinity.

My Wife and myself called in for Sunday lunch, we both had traditional Roast Beef with all the trimmings washed down with a couple of soft drinks. The service was swift and efficient and the food was great. The only downside, (and this is purely down to personal preference) is that they sell bottles of Pepsi, not bottles of Coca Cola (The Real Thing) Ha ha.
