"Welcome! The Ferry Boat Inn is Shaldon's only pub right next to the beach. There is no better place to sit and have a drink in Shaldon. The Ferry Boat Inn (known as the FBI to the locals) is a dog friendly historic pub next to the beach in the beautiful fishing village of Shaldon, Devon, on the mouth of the River Teign. The pub in Shaldon Devon is run by local couple Matt and Michelle who took over in November 2018. Before running the Ferry Boat Inn, Matt was the manager at a golf club and Michelle has had lots of experience managing bars and restaurants. Between them they have plenty of experience in the hospitality trade. We are now serving food on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12-8pm"

What a lovely pub with friendly staff. Great selection of beer and ales. Upstairs seating to take in the views or Outdoor sheltered / heated seating area overlooking the estuary.Music on most Sundays of the month when we visited. A great find well worth a visit.

What an enviable location, in the village of shaldon over looking the river Teign right on the beach. A great place to while the time away, great for families, kids or couples. Always a sociable atmosphere with plenty of laughs. Great menu and often has live bands.

Lovely little pub tucked away next to the beach. Little beer garden a few steeps across the road so you can sit right on the edge of the beach with scenic views of the river teign. Friendly staff and a reasonably priced pint.

Lovely little pub, beautiful seating area over looking the estuary, small menu Friday to Sunday but we'll nice, excellent homemade burgers and steak roll absolutely superb. Lovely staff very friendly and dog friendly too we sat inside by the window nice atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks. As we live in Dawlish will be back again.

Popped in for a couple of drinks on a typical wet summer's day the other week. The guys on were friendly enough and the pub was nicely decorated. Offered a good selection of drinks and food. They had a music evening on the Sunday before which looked excellent and a shame we didn't discover it sooner
