The Jolly Farmer in Teignbridge

I was there for a weekly event they host in the upstairs room. Usually the staff are quite attentive but yesterday the young man was a little preoccupied. Granted he was serving another customer but he looked in my direction and didn't even acknowledge I was there. Over all the establishment has a good choice of beverage. They also serve food but haven't eaten here in a while.

Beer ok, music not our taste. Seemed a bit dark. Staff really friendly

The food here is Amazing. My friend ordered a Nut roast. The nut roast came on a large late in a dish Large Yorkshire pudding on side . Then large plate of vegetables on a separate plate.I had a Chinese chicken curry with egg fried rice and prawn crackers.Very large pub.Good choice of food menu.Very friendly and helpful staff.Lovely pub highly recommend.

Just a quick stop here after shopping. A nice pint of beer. Children welcome. Clean toilets and friendly staff.

Really good pub.This pub/club has aged beautifully with the years, adapting to exactly what was needed.At first you think its just a nice old fashioned pub, then you go to the toilet and hear pitbull, so you walk straight through into an extended bar, more seating and a dance floor with a full dj booth.Really good pub and definitely not too expensive considering the experience you get.

Lovely mixed Sunday roast with friendly staff good atmosphere well worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic evening spent at The Jolly Farmer in mid September 2021. Atmosphere was brilliant and the outdoor space is a really lovely place to be. Staff are great and the drinks well priced.Recommended and look forward to returning

Nice pub, good staff. Terrible food. Burgers were obviously just cheap frozen patties, chips were under cooked and the 'coke' tasted like sparkling water with cola flavouring. Can't see us returning in the future.

Wonderful pub! Got everything you could ask for! Staff are amazingly friendly, food was brilliant, really fun atmosphere! Great music and dog friendly, nothing more we could ask for!

Dropped in on speck whilst shopping in the town. Covid protocol was good. We both had burgers, one chicken and one beef, and could not fault them. Nice pint of Jail ale. A bit of a delay between ordering food and it being served but tolerable unlike the constant reggae/rap over the sound system but of course that is personal taste. We would go again if in Newton.
