Came for a pint and sat at the beer garden. Definitely a place you need to book in advance if you wanna eat inside. Parking space was full when we arrived. Family friendly pub. Will have meals here in the future as it smelled good inside on a Sunday brunch time.

A pub with some history, read the framed information on the walls. Lovely location, great food and very nice ambience. Car park a bit small if busy. A great british pub.

Really lovely Saturday lunch in a 14th century thatched pub situated in the village location of Coffinswell. Good quality plain cooking, very well executed, and where possible using locally sourced ingredients.Friendly and polite staff, perfectly reasonable selection of beer and a couple of ciders. It would be great to see a couple of British wines / sparkling wines on the drinks menu as there are some very good ones around and some local vineyards.

Two of us ate lunch here today. The food was lovely and the staff happily catered for my gluten free needs. I thoroughly recommend The Linney, but would advise advance booking as it gets busy.

Went for lunch today, excellent food and great choice on the menu, the reason for 3 stars is that the service was well below average. We were served by 5 different members of staff whose attitude ranged between over familiar to indifferent to rude, one of them could not answer the simplest questions regarding the drinks menu, we were then completely forgotten when it came to ordering desserts, not very professional. Would recommend because of the food but the service has certainly taken the edge off our experience and needs serious improvement.

Family dinner.Have wanted to dine here for so long. Finally booked.Lovely menu and.plenty to choose from . Olde English was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Staff were under pressure as busy but all remained lovely , fun and helpful. Would recommend this place again and again. Will be back and I can't wait .

Fabulous meal and homely atmosphere at The Linny. Plenty of choice on the menu of high quality dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Avocado, Smoked Salmon and Atlantic Prawn Salad.

An absolutely wonderful experience. The most welcoming hosts and a fabulous menu in the cozy snuggly atmosphere of a true country Inn on a freezing cold winter night.A great selection of beers and wines and really great food. Great for families and babies. Would definitely recommend. We will be back very soon.

Great service, food, atmosphere and experience. Big menus (food/drink) and it all seems to be done well. Owners are chatty and engaging , clearly want to ensure you have a good experience. They remembered me and my dad by first name despite not seeing us in many years. Pub has an old school design with an upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs is more casual bar vibes, upstairs more restauranty. Currently need to book 3/4 weeks in advance. A Must visit.
