The Market Gate in Teignbridge

Excellent service. Quality food. Delivered in a timely fashion. Best takeaway in the TQ12 area and beyond. I have been ordering from the Market Gate for months and I have ne er been disappointed.

I've ordered food from here via Just Eat multiple times and only once was something slightly wrong. (I've forgotten what, but, it wasn't major)Anyway, the food is cooked to perfection and always tasty!It's changed a lot as a place since I used to go in back when it was owned by someone else. However, it's well laid out. The owner and staff seem pretty friendly and relaxed.They also have a pool table in the back. And they have tvs for people to watch sport on. Overall, pretty cool!

Went to watch the footie and was pretty impressed as it was not on and the chap did not bother one moment and put it on for us. Thx's mate 👌 well impressed, will definitely go back 👍

Excellent selection of beers and open late on a Thursday. Recipe for success.

Got wasted in there one Friday and lost my phone, the team were diligent enough to find it and look after it for me until I phoned up like a complete melon 4 days later asking if I'd left it there.Nice boozer as well.Thanks to all the team at Market Gate.

Great place to eat. Good music, great atmosphere, drinks were cold and refreshing and the menu offering is brill. The munchy boxes value for money is amazing. We certainly enjoyed our visit

Foods top notch and the drinks are always decent.Edit: Came in for a mates birthday and the football was on informed relevant staff members and owner after being showered in glass after someone threw one "Infront of ten + people" nobody cared. Spend the best part of ten minutes getting glass out my jeans. I've come to this place for years, talk to the owner all the time and this left a real sour taste in my mouth. You know where I work if you want a chat about this.

Although it was very busy the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. The food came out in a more than reasonable time even without how busy they were. The food was a larger portion than expected for the price and was of very good quality and tasted great. I will recommend the chicken burgers by far, one of the best locally and I will be back for more.
