The Ness Hotel Restaurant in Teignbridge

We had a lovely evening meal with family on the 18th April at The Ness. Superb meal for all of us. Beautiful setting and good service from the Ness staff. We will certainly be back when we next visit Sharon. Best meal for a long long time. Thank you all so much xx

Visited on mothering Sunday and was nicely suprised that there was a complimentary gin and tonic gift on the table for us. We had the roast which was delicious, especially the bottomless Yorkshire puddings. Kids enjoyed their meals which came with their ice cream for pudding. Lovely views, staff very friendly.

Really, really enjoyed our visit. Stopped in without and reservation and had no issues getting a table.The atmosphere was really welcoming and relaxed. The food was superb and there were also some good vegetarian options.We had excellent service and recommendations from our server Georgia.We will definitely come back!

Excellent Sunday Lunch served by friendly staff. Great pub/hotel with lovely views over the estuary towards Teignmouth and the Jurassic coastline. Highly recommended

Came here today. Great local pub to me. The whitebait was great and the Badger beer selection. A couple of things in service. Had to help ourselves cutlery. Maybe that's what everyone does and staff didn't know what a stout or porter was. Said just Guiness available but the Badger Milk Made was recommended by a couple on table opposite and on the list. Overall good with a couple of tweaks.

Food 5 stars. Lovely fresh fish and chipsLocation 5 stars. If you ever visited you will know. If not Google images do not do it justice.Staff 3 stars, although friendly and kind, there attentiveness was lacking. Certainly a training issue as they were in the most part lovely. There were a few times they were stood around chatting when customers were sat waiting. It certainly wasn't busy enough to excuse the slow service.

From booking, to paying. Fantastic experience! Booked online, requested a table with a view, and was not disappointed. The service was excellent, food was amazing. Good value. Would recommend

We really like the Ness House Hotel, the position above the Teign estuary is spectacular. When there is a high tide one can often view ships entering and exiting too and they are very close. Far reaching views to Exmouth along the coast are stunning.We had booked our window table and our waitress was very diligent. Our menu choices varied but each meal was well presented and our wait for food not to long at all.Parking is really close in a public park and for very disabled one can park right outside, I think there were two spaces. Highly recommended!

We called in for lunch today as non-residents. We were advised they were short-staffed, so were quite happy to wait for our food, which was excellent. The chef must have been run off his feet, but the food was delicious and attractively presented. Excellent menu options, too, for vegetarians and for vegans, which is still quite unusual.

Called in here for a meal today after visiting Trago Mills. Hadnt booked but the receptionist found us a table. My husband and i both ordered a Sunday roast each ( turkey) it was delicious. Everything cooked to our liking, nice sized portions too. Lovely decor, lovely view and lovely staff. Many thanks.
