We were camping at Hennock Hideaways and ate at the Palk Arms on Tuesday evening. It was an excellent meal. I had the ham, eggs, chips and peas which was truly amazing - extremely generous portions with thick sliced ham off the bone.In all, it was a lovely evening in a very pleasant village pub (with top quality beer too) and the owners were very welcoming, attentive and friendly.It's also a 2 minute walk from the campsite - we will be back!Thank you.

Amazing lunch at the Palk arms today. The peri peri chicken, chicken curry, steak and ale pie and the whitebait were all superb as was the sticky toffee pudding and clotted cream. Service with a smile, great cider and ale in a magnificent, old traditional pub off the beaten track.

After a scarey drive to the pub thanks to sat nav friendly local told me a better way back. Food was amazing staff friendly and we all had an amazing evening

Lovely little pub, always come here when we camp. Dog and children friendly. Staff are lovely, great beer garden out the back with 2 massive rabbits, my son loves feeding them. See you at the weekend!!!
