Food is outstanding, usually have a cod chunk and it’s always very meaty and great value! Only thing of note was the service received, young girl on the counter had a terrible attitude, snapped at me 3 times in our very quick transaction, she could do with a lesson on customer service, I don’t normally leave reviews but I was honestly shocked but don’t let this put you off, aside from that it’s a very good chippy.

Disappointing. The worse I've had in a long time. I will not be returning. Portions are tiny. As a family we usually get large chips between us which is always enough for 4 of us. Large chips was not enough for even two of us on this occasion. The chips that I did have did not seem fresh and were just crispy left over bits. Well below par and what I had expected having read the other reviews.

Ashburton is the gift the keeps on giving, this is up there with the quality of the curry house This chippy is great and is reasonably priced. Get a pre order in as it's normally got a que, would recommend to anyone looking for a good fish supper!

Without a doubt the most enjoyable portion of chips I have had in years. Everything is priced reasonably and cooked well. Staff are always friendly and it's a pleasure to visit. Always a good end to a walk on the moors.

Me and my other half came here for the first time yesterday evening and it certainly won't be our last. The food and service was absolutely superb and we will definitely be repeat customers! Coming in at 8pm we weren't sure what to expect (Usually in a chippy, you tend to get the dribs and drabs at the end of the day that have been sitting out for a while don't you?!) - but the fish and chips were still fresh and I just wanted to say what a great job the staff were doing there. We are very much looking forward to our next visit; I'm not going to lie, it was that good that we are tempted to go again tonight!
