Delicious and Scrumptious food family friendly highly recommended to all of her family and friends and we will definitely be going back soon for another Sunday roast 😋

Nice and friendly country cottage pub, great beer garden with lovely surroundings. Great walks by the river. Sunday lunch was very tasty with a good choice of starters and desserts we will be returning to try the weekday menu soon.

Went for a relaxed Sunday lunch and wow...fantastic home made food. It's as if you've gone to an old aunties house and she serves up wholesome honest tasty grub. Great choice of old school desserts as well. Superb value, great beer range and major plus....dog friendly 👍

Used The Shipwright Arms several times during our stay in Sheldon, the food and beer were excellent with a good selection of home cooked specials as well as the standard pub favourites.Four very good real ales on when we went as well as a good selection of wines and the usual beer selection.Very dog friendly and the landlord and lady go above and beyond to make everyone welcome, also a very nice beer garden near the river, well worth a visit.

The most fantastic fresh fish and chips plus a wonderfully warm welcome on a cold March mid week evening. Highly reccomended!

Amazing food, great portions and it's delicious 😋

Had a lovely meal here and suitable for doggos. All staff were super friendly and the chef was amazing in catering to a fussy eater in our party. Honestly could not fault and would return again! Beautiful holiday meal!

Absolutely love this pub!! Food is phenomenal, staff are friendly and welcoming and you can tell they all take pride in the pub! Spotlessly clean, lovely outside area, great range of draft beers..... I can not rate this place enough

On holiday and we had a number visits here. Good range of drinks. Food is really good and good value. The team are just brilliant - welcoming, friendly and attentive. Be aware food serving is not all day. Would highly recommend a visit.

Just had a brilliant Sunday lunch at The Shipwright Arms nicely presented and hotThe beef was lovely and tender as was my husband's meal of the roast pork. Would we go back there again most definitely. Both Selina and Steve were the perfect hosts nothing to much trouble for them.
