Lovely food, nicely cooked. Staff attentive and polite. Lovely place for lunch either overlooking the estuary or in the café.Crocque Monsieur, apple and parsnip soup and the best cheese scone my wife has ever had .. delicious 😊

Lovely little cafe!Went for lunch on a Sunday, it was quiet when we got there but busier when we left.Lovely to see walkers popping in for a coffee to keep them going!My husband got the ratatouille which was a special that day - it was brilliant! Very glad they had that special too as otherwise not sure what he’d have had (a veggie who’s not that fond of cheese)I got the brilliant Croque Monsieur which was lovely and nice to come with crisps and a small salad

We love to visit this little place for a brunch with the view.Good selection of home made pastries and cakes, small but smart menu with everything made from the scratch. We never had a bad meal here - always nice and pleasant.The gorgeous view is a bonus so don’t hesitate to grab a space outside whenever weather permits.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff, thoroughly recommend the vegetarian brunch, and a great selection of rather scrumptious looking cakes.

The garden terrace is at the edge of Shaldon beach, with a lovely view of the bay and the boats. The food was nice and the service was friendly and prompt. Would definitely go back. Unfortunately it closes quite early (around 4pm, I think), so no possibility for a late afternoon or early evening coffee, glass of beer or bite to eat.

Lovely views..not sure they can be bettered from the beach edge terrace overlooking Teighnmourh harbour and an excellent cream tea.Inside eating is on china, outside is on takeaway containers maybe due to covid safety. Friendly staff. Dog treats offered for good behaviour.

These are the views from this cafe, superb. This was my 1st visit and I can assure you that I will be back. The customer service is excellent along with the breakfast choices. You can sit inside the cafe when the weather is not on your side, but grab a view and relax with a delightful coffee, you will not regret your decision.

Excellent food. Croque Madame and Eggs Benedict really enjoyable. Lovely efficient and friendly staff. Good that many of their meals are a little different from other establishments. Superb bread too.

The Strand has a nice outdoor seating area which really takes advantage of the good weather and the views.Staff were friendly and helpful and informed us that there would be a half hour delay with our food. In fact it came after about 15 minutes. The croque champignons was tasty and a bit different as vegetarian fayre.We enjoyed our meal.
