Lovely carvery plenty of veg and meat reasonably priced👌

The carvery is just delicious. Usual choices include beef, chicken, turkey or ham, as well as a vegetarian nut roast option. Meats can be served singularly or two combined. Help yourself to the variety of vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and the all essential gravy (veggie option available too) and enjoy an enjoyable, belly-busting meal. There is a good variety of beers, ales, ciders, wines, and spirits to enjoy alongside your meal and, if you have room, a selection of desserts to finish you off, literally 😉.

Staff where great.Pub stuck in the 1970s including the music and the food!We stopped for a carvery, had heard good things but it's what I would call old people's food, not great, wouldn't go back. However all that said congratulations to the staff, I've not known a team like that for a long time, young, vibrant perhaps ask them what could be done to bring your pub back up to date in a way that's sympathetic to your building.

Delicious food, quick service with drinks and desserts but unfortunately the experience was let down slightly when paying. One member of staff on the bar (very nice lad) was running all over making drinks and taking payments as he appeared to be on his own so it took a long time to pay.

Regularly visited the swans nest mainly family gatherings as one of the few places in Exeter that will happily take a big group. Food is lovely, haven't been able to fault it yet. Recently had a family member organise a hen do for me there and they were just so accommodating, friendly and fun. Looking forward to returning

Carvery was delicious, but staff clearly wanted to go, after 8:00pm, as they were all wearing sweatshirts, offered no more drinks and the restaurant got very cold (heating switched off?). You advertise open until 11:00pm, on Saturday nights... I wouldn't bother to go here again

Quite and average/adequate pub. Nothing special, a good range of quality beers and plenty of space. If you enjoy a carvery, this is for you.

Anyone in the area looking for a vegan meal should definitely check out this place. A good selection of fantastic tasting vegan and vegetarian food. Super helpful and friendly staff, who even made us a special vegan sundae dessert. A lovely location with a large, pleasant garden. Can't recommend highly enough.

Super friendly staff and amazing carvey. The owners are very accommodating. Family friendly and the outdoor area is very cozy and beautiful. The Swan has really stepped up their game and we will be visiting regularly.
