We enjoyed a slightly early – Saturday evening – Valentine’s meal here which was superb. A beautiful chicken pate followed by lamb, with excellent veggie options for me. An excellent house rose wine to accompany these and gorgeous array of three desserts to end. A delightful evening.

Great old pub with function room. Great food. Service good.

·

Lovely little pub . Great selection of Ales and beers. Very nice food, we had an impromptu lunch. Friendly and attentive staff.

·

Lovely outdoor seating. Polite COVID advisory. Good table service. Hard to fault

·

Very friendly and helpful staff. Delighted they have ale, everywhere else I've been is IPA, lager and Guinness. A welcome change. A nice old pub feeling to this well decorated building. The beer was good, can't comment on the food yet but plan to eat there tonight and will update this review.Update - Now having eaten here, the food was good, although potions slightly on the small size. The chilli was lacking a chilli flavour. I think value for money isn't the best or worst. The main negative was using a small cutting board as a plate, not very practical.Personally, I am happy to drink here but not eat.

I like the drink selection of beers and local ciders, the nice spaces inside and tables outside on the green with views over Denbury down. The food is ok but could be better and menus outside are different from inside even on a day when no one was inside we could not have a substantial meal outdoors, given the current covid conditions when eating outdoors is safer seems a shame that they are not more accommodating, at least during week days when it's not very busy.

The Union Inn in Denbury is a charming pub that we stopped at for lunch while cycling in the area. It's located on the village green and seems a popular spot with locals and visitors alike. They have plenty of outside seating with a marquee, and cosy indoor areas. The menu is a simple affair, which is seasonal, and offered the typical pub food including burgers, fish and chips, pizzas as well as beers, wine and soft drinks.Had a pot of tea first then I opted for the ploughman's cheese plate with salad and chocolate cheesecake for afters which went down very well. The pub is well fitted out with plenty of wood, fireplace and there are some interesting prints on the walls. The service was good and even though it was a Saturday lunchtime they managed to find us a table straight away. There was a bit of a wait with serving as they got busy with the unexpected arrival of a large group.I would recommend it to anyone looking for proper country pub food with friendly service! Dogs are welcome too.

What a lovely little pub in a great location. We visited last week when in the area and sat outside on the benches in field area which was very nice in the sun, the girl serving the tables was absolutely brilliant and the food and beer was quality. If you are in the area I would 100% recommend visiting this place! We will certainly be back again

Had a pot of tea and an amazing steak pasty, it was one of the best pasties I've ever had. It was wet and windy day and of course due to restrictiona had to sit outside under the marquee but it's such a lovely pub on a pretty green, with friendly efficient staff. The people on the other tables were very friendly so it was a nice visit and I definitely recommend.

After a long walk, a great pub to find 😊 Craft ales and an open fire 🔥😊Good food menu also; steaks, burgers and Home made pies and including Rabbit Stew in the menu.I had the worlds best steak today, well done and succulently tender.Waitresses were very nice and helpful and let me in 4 mins early as it was pouring hard and I didn’t have a coat. Much appreciated.
