Awful, we had booked a room in the pub called the Foxtor, when we got there they told us that they had let our room to someone else so they gave us the only room they had. The room had no curtains up to the window so they were having to go & buy a rail & curtains, we had to tell them there was no base sheet on the bed. The mattress & base to the bed was badly stained, there was holes in the wall, the wardrobe was stood on wood blocks & the room in general was very drab. I am sorry that I did not take any pictures but I was just so shocked & couldn't wait to get out of the place. I would have been ashamed to even rent the room to anyone.

Nice local pub great atmosphere dog friendly absolutely fantastic breakfast nice bedroom clean and tidy bathroom clean and fresh quirky floors which adds to the character of the building I would recommend stating here

Mad, inviting, fun, free jacket potatoes! (You need to go there to truly appreciate the - free with every drink- jacket potatoes). We especially loved listening to Julie Anne singing

Popped in for a pint and was impressed. Great pub with a nice selection of ales and ciders. Woodburner and friendly staff.

Wish we had photos of the food just to be able to justify the following comments regarding it. Very disappointing in taste, portion sizes and presentation. Unfortunate as we were recommended to visit this place. Maybe it was just the burgers but can't recommend ordering the food. A MacDonald meal would've been more satisfying.However nice location..

Best Rack of Ribs I've ever tasted. Very delicious meal at a reasonable price! The ambience is so cozy it gives you a feel of the old town. Friendly beer-loving folks! I really enjoyed my first dinner experience there..
