What a lucky find! 🤩 We picked this pub at random to go out for a evening meal and it's certainly one of my favourite places to go! Such a beautiful little village pub that gave a warm welcome from the very friendly staff. Very rustic but modern, lovely atmosphere, well decorated and maintained. We sat at the bar with our drinks till our table was ready and then was shown to the table in the corner, watch your head on the very low beams btw! I ordered the pork belly for mains and the chocolate brownie for dessert; neither disappointed and every bite was delicious 😋 The service was great, we didn't feel rushed and were able to enjoy our evening with good food and drink. I'd highly recommend visiting this 5* establishment, and would most definitely like to go back again and try something else from the menu.

Fantastic Pub, came across this place after a walk in the area, so glad we did. Warm welcome from arrival, great beers and delicious food. family and dog friendly all the boxes ticked. Highly recomend and will be returning. 👍

Incredibly friend staff combined with an eclectically charming ambiance make this a great place to stop for a pint or a meal. The pork belly is a must have, and don't forget to check out the funky wallpaper in the back room.

A great team meal at the Yew Tree to help celebrate my imminent retirement. The seasonal menu offered a very good set of choices at a reasonable price. The team in the pub offered a very good service too. A good way to round off my time with the team. Thanks everybody.

Friendly staff, a cozy fire, dog and family friendly, with a great menu! Also a gorgeous garden for when the weather is warmer. Inside is furnished beautifully with comfortable chairs. All round, a great place to visit, with a lovely atmosphere, either for a meal, or just for drinks.

We had a great evening at the Yew Tree. Fab food, ambience and the service was excellent. They went out of their way to look after us. Such a lovely pub, I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful pub in a magnificent place. The service is friendly and fast and staff's behavior is great! The menu is fine, starters and mains are not equal to their price, but food is ok and the overall experience was absolutely fine. Pet friendly as well :)

Simply amazing! Some of the best food I have had the pleasure of eating. Good portion sizes, well presented and cooked to perfection. The staff were very polite and attentive which helped provide a lovely atmosphere. We will plan another holiday up this way in the future for the sole reason of being able to eat here again we enjoyed it that much. The only downside is the lack of parking, particularly if you have a full size SUV so arrive early as you may have to search down the really narrow lanes before you get lucky.

Five star food! I know it's been a while since we ate out with CV-19, but this was a really delicious meal, in friendly easy going surroundings despite any social distancing that had to be in place. The food was beautifully presented, with careful consideration given to the balance of flavours as well as combinations of colours and the imaginative use of edible flowers. I love flowers! My Sea Bass dish was light and vibrant with tiny little pansies dotted around. While my husbands steak dish was dark and strongly flavoured, even though it could have been a little more tender to cut. The deserts were just as good. Prices were not cheap but you get what you pay for and this was, in my view, good value for money and well worth putting your best jeans on for. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This was our second visit to The Yew Tree. We are not local and visited the first time as it was a tiny little way off route on our way home from the Mumbles. This time we made a bit of a detour to go there! The food is fantastic, and great value for money, portion sizes are generous and the food was hot and fresh. I particularly recommend the Bajan fish cakes as a starter, I can only say "Wow!", and the Chef's take on Apple Tart Tatin (pictured) was beautiful to look at, and a delight to eat, it finished off a wonderful meal in a spectacular way.Not only is the food excellent, but the range of beers, wines and spirits is comprehensive and there is something that should please every taste. The staff are marvelous, the pub wonderful and the toilets clean and pleasant. The Yew Tree has now become our 'must go to' whenever we are in the area.Well done to everyone involved with the pub, you should be proud of what you do!
