We had a lovely Bank Holiday visit to this delightful cafè. The service was brilliant despite them being busy and the food was beautifully presented. Everything was fresh and tasty. I just wish we lived closer to enjoy this more often!

We've been to Tewkesbury a few times. Went into cafe au chocolate as it was an independent coffee chain and it did not disappoint. Coffee was amazing, really smooth. Definitely going back there again

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent fresh made dishes. Do not visit if you want to keep your wasteline. Deserts and cakes to die for. Wonderful Chai Latte. ❤👩‍

Delicious cups of hot chocolate and superb cakes enjoyed. A lovely find late Sunday afternoon before attending Evensong at the Abbey. And very kind to permit a last minute purchase of their handmade chocolates from their adjacent award winning shop. Beautiful designs and flavours of fudge and chocolate to suit all pockets and occasions. A truly delightful find in the centre of Tewksbury.

We came for a Coffee & cake as we decided to visit Tewkesbury for a change of scenery! The atmosphere and staff were lovely & prices were very reasonable. The cakes were absolutely amazing and had me wanting more. Sadly for me personally my coffee tasted very bitter so not sure if it was burned, either way the drink is the reason I've dropped to 3 stars else I probably would have put 5 ❤️

Lovely cafe in Tewkesbury. Had ultimate hot choc came with so many extra choco bits! Was delish. For lunch had chicken, pineapple, mozzarella and chilli jam ❤️

Forget Costa and all those other big retailers and support this independent coffee shop. The Biscoff milkshake was to die for and was shocked when I saw the large marshmallow on the straw. Forgive the picture, I had the cream of the top before I took the picture.

To start with the staff were exceptionally nice. However, being a connoisseur of coffee I'd have to say that the coffee served isn't a good blend. It has a bitter after taste which is consistent with cheaper products. The milk was at the right temperature and the barista added a nice design on top.My wife had a hot chocolate and found it to be sickly sweet. Maybe a choice of not so sweet could be given? She noticed that all the sweet accompaniments looked to be far too sweet and that usually means white sugar. Anyway, she opted for a scone with butter. I had a little as well and it was, too be honest, a little stodgy.Anyway, I'm being truthful here.I'm also aware that negative reviews affect businesses, but they can also affect positive changes too. Here's hoping that the profit motive here can in the future can be overridden by one of more quality. As things stand we would not go back.

Best coffee we had in Tewkesbury. They also have great cakes and we had a super salad for lunch. Friendly and helpful staff with quite a bit of local trade, not just us visitors.

Just like to give a big thumbs up to the staff at Cafe au Chocolat! Great coffee, quick and efficient service. Prices are acceptable and good quality coffees. I like the fact that they are allowing dogs inside “with well behaved owners!” :)) Thanks 🙏 for a lovely afternoon!
