Cafe Royal in Tewkesbury

2 months ago..Restaurant? Really? Cafe at best.Today 13/04/22...a colleague ordered a meal deal....pizza, chips and a coleslaw meal deal. She didn't want the coleslaw so declined. At checkout she was told she HAD to have the side otherwise it wasn't a meal deal! So we questioned the checkout lady further....what do we do with the coleslaw side that isn't wanted. She replied...BIN IT!Are these staff so thick? Even another customer questioned her rule! So much waste in the NHS system!Today 22/05/22Went to purchase a tray of chips. A simple request....for some, but not LEAT. I asked for a tray of chips. The chap behind the counter pointed at two batches asking 'Which?'. He pointed at two different batches - both looking pretty much the same. I said, I don't mind, just a tray of chips please? This went on 3 or 4 times before his colleague/manager declared they were different types of chip and one was more expensive. Doh...welcome to the NHS.

How well do they look after you at this eatery? Excellent service and food.

Now a days it's turn in vaccination hub this place half part is covid vaccination centre and half is restaurant for strictly for NHS staff only its not like before open to all

Went here for COVID booster shot. Process was smooth and fast and the doctor was real nice.

4 pound for a hot chocolate and biscuit. This is not starbucks, very expensive for a hospital subsidy especially then paying parking ontop.

This restaurant provides the highest quality service and Covid vaccinations. Thank you NHS ♥️🏳️‍🌈

Very good for Covid Vaccinations. Effectively sequenced by pleasant and capable staff and coordinators. Deed done with minimum fuss within 5x mins, then asked to bide my time for further 15x mins while refreshed by Free Bottle of Water. Recommended, and I'll be almost certain to return, likely in 3x months time.

I didnt have anything to eat here. It's the vaccination centre in the Leicester royal infirmary. Second jab. Extremely impressed with the organisation and set up. Well done NHS world class!

I bought a prawn sandwich which had 6 tiny prawns in total. See photo after I got it out and opened it up. I complained and it was replaced with a salmon sandwich full of large bones. Couldn't be bothered to get in long queue again!

Typical hospital canteen, not something you would want to have every day and definitely nowhere near as good as even average chip shop. Plenty off seating, staff actually not bad, so service saved it from being two stars. Short opening hours.
