Eastern Eye Tandoori in Tewkesbury

This Restaurant has got to be one of the best there is. For me it is perfect. I don’t need to say any more about it just read the reviews below they say everything that I want to say about it.I just wish they would re open.

It was a fantastic restaurant but it has been closed for at least 2 years as of my posting so any reviews for the Eastern eye on the corner of Nelson Street and Barton Street are not for this restaurant.

Honestly the best Indian food I have eatern anywhere. Huge portions, fresh and extensive flavours and a great little restuant. Sadly, this establishment doesn't seem to be open too often these days as I believe that the owner has some health problems. Hopefully it re opens again soon.

Best Indian food in Tewkesbury and one of the better places for Indian/Bangladeshi food I ever had in the UK.They don't serve alcohol but you can take some and have it there. Excellent portions in take away but expect a wait since they are very popular in town.Better to give them a ring before going down as they don't seem to open every day and seating is limited.

We have travelled all over the country & this takes some beating, we have at least one curry every where we travel. Extra portions inc so not just value but the flavours are fresh & very well balanced.

Don't let appearances deceive you! Freshly cooked food, huge portions (one of their Balti specials would be enough for 2), great value, excellent all round.

Very tasty. Big plates. But if You want to drink something stronger than Coca - You shall bring it with You.

Having lived in and around London we are used to some pretty reasonable Indian restaurants and consider the Eastern Eye as one of the very best we have ever come across. The portions are huge for both take-away and dining in. The quality of the food is superb and consistent. Any of their Sag dishes are divine and even the kids love it (try and get a 12 and 9 year old to eat spinach). One point to mention is that their dishes are very authentic and their Dansak dishes are extremely sweet.Truly great food.

Well worth a visit as the food is always fantastic. Everything is cooked from fresh so patience is required but boy is it worth the wait! Best Indian food for miles and friends who have eaten with us have always said how good it is. Farooq is a star!

Fantastic value, set menu for one is enough for two people! Lovely freshly food and huge servings. Best Indian in Tewkesbury. 5 out of 5 for their hygiene rating.
