Since I moved to Gloucester years ago I've been looking for a good chinese - I am happy to say I've finally found an amazing one! Better than any other I've had both in and out of Gloucester.The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The customer service was great - really lovely staff from the get go. They were upfront about being busy so said it'd be about an hour - they ended up being early, only around 40 minutes. I appreciated the fact they were honest about how long it would take, others may have overpromised and underdelivered - but Golden City did it right. Even the prices are far more reasonable than most takeaways in Gloucester.Only way it could be better is if you could order for ASAP through the website (instead of over the phone), but I understand why if they're often busy. Our new favourite takeaway - 100% would recommend.

Excellent. Order pork satay and king prawns with ginger and spring onions. Very tasty! Kids had special fried rice and loved it too!

I've tried many chinese takeaways in Gloucester, most of them rubbish! This is the first I've had where I was pleasantly surprised to have no complaints! Great sauce, chips and chicken! Would recommend!
