Lovely warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We all had a roast lunch which was really good and plenty of it. The cleaning regime of other tables was impeccable. Attention to detail was spot on. Looking forward to going again.

The House in the Tree is a fantastic pub to visit, both at lunchtimes and evenings. Gorgeous ambience, friendly and welcoming staff and great food and drinks, cheers

Food was amazing and reasonably priced, staff where very helpful and friendly

A 'go to' place for meeting friends for many years. The quality of food is always excellent and there is a choice of food from the favourites menu and an ever changing 'specials' board. We always feel it is value for money and the staff are friendly and it's obvious they work as a team. The restaurant manager is also very visible, greeting customers and waiting tables when busy (which it often is!)Good range of drinks and local ales to choose from too.In the summer, there is a nice outdoor space and child friendly, with plenty of parking. We love it!

Beautiful lil country pub. Helpful friendly staff, cosy environment, and a wonderful addition of a small farm type setting with pigs, fowl and goats, which I enjoyed a great deal. Must be wonderful for families in the warmer, sunnier days!

·

Amazing food and staff , and very quick service meaning how busy they was, as there was a few birthdays , cheesecake was one of the bests I've ever had will defo be returning and recommending to friends

This is a very typical country pub, offering a standard menu of what you might expect, cooked to a high standard. Service was quick and the good prepared quickly.BUT, despite much signage about COVID precautions and having to wait outside to be seated, once inside there was no evidence of precautions. None of the staff were wearing masks and there was no apparent expectation for guests either.Service while quick was not special.I will not return.

Went for a huge family birthday for my nans 80th.Lovely place, have been there a few times over the years for family meals, though I believe this was my first time going there as a vegan.Had the med veg tart which was amazing, followed by, if I remember rightly, blackberry crumble squares (?) and (vegan) custard. So few places have so many different options away from salad and plain pasta, so this was a real treat. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 courses!Staff were quick and attentive and the mini petting zoo out the back is a bonus 😅

Good burgers and fast service. Overpriced lemonade cost £6, you can get 2 litres from Tesco for 50p. We expected a hand made lemonade for this price.

Had an amazing Sunday lunch there. Food was great and quick. Friendly and professional staff. Even has a little petting zoo. Would recommend!
