Kings Head in Tewkesbury

Good to return as we enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the river Severn.

While visiting my parents in Upton Upon Severn from Australia we had a family get together Lunch Time meal at The Kings Head in celebrating my parents Blue Sapphire 65th Wedding Anniversary on 30/03/22 & dad's 92nd birthday the same day. Excellent friendly service & excellent food & we had arranged a special anniversary cake made elsewhere.Meals were very reasonable in price & a good meal choice selection from the menu planner.A big thankyou to the The Kings Head Staff.

Nice to sit by tge River. Good cider Rattler and lovely gin and tonic.

Absolutely gorgeous food, massive portions and very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely visit again and recommend 👌

We love this pub. Friendly staff and when the weather is pleasant you can sit right by the river.

Friendly staff, tasty Sunday roast and a good sing along to the jukebox on the weekend 😂

Sunday lunch carvery perfection:A warm and friendly welcome, a smart restaurant room with glowing fireplace, a splendid roast carvery spread, with a huge selection of meats and vegetables, a heavenly chocolate dessert, and great value, all made our visit to The King's Head an unequivocal 5-Star experience.

We sat outside and waited an hour for our food. Most of the meals were fine however the curry had a paper label inside. Had to return the curry and ask for a refund. Staff were not really apologetic and didn’t seem bothered. Would not return

Very good food and value for money. 4 of us eat at the Kings head , not planed and totally off the cuff one lunch time. My wife and I had lasagne and our friends had rump steak. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Its not very often we ear such a large meal at lunchtime. Sat by the river, served by very efficient and friendly staff.If we are in the area again, we will certainly will go there for a meal.Thankyou to the staff, especially in the times we are currently in.

A nice place to sit outside in the sun with a pint over looking the river and watching the boats go by. It was closed the last time we were in Upton, but glad it’s open again.
