Can't seem to cook eggs 1st attempt overcooked 2nd attempt slimey white,3rd time didn't order,breakfast items piled up ,waitress said eggs are a difficult food to cook, what! an astounding lol moment,older waitress was very nice,young waitress didn't smile once and was unfriendly,

Unfriendly service and an uncomfortable, judgemental atmosphere, so much so that we could not order food, and could barely order drinks.An unfortunate experience considering the largely positive reviews I've seen, and has definitely left a sour taste in our mouth.

Lovely quaint cafe. Very charming. Attentive staff. Enjoyed a lovely roast lunch with traditional pudding. Would recommend to eat here.

Really, really quaint and homely with homemade cakes and coffees of which the proprietors are rightly proud. They take care. Genteel older customers for the most part that one might imagine belong to the "County Set". After you enter life seems to move more slowly and gently. It it lace and china and lovely.

Visitd 6 months ago. If you like solid bullet eggs as your poached eggs on toast then this is the place to be. Used to like it but will give it wide berth now. Cheffie was more interested in talking to his mate.
