Love how the kids can sit outside and watch the planes and helicopters. Food is always tasty and a sensible price. Only downside is they don't have any fruit shoot style bottles for the younger kids, but they have soft drinks and k just bring my own bottle for them.

Really good pub/café in a great location next to Gloucestershire airport.

Visited for lunch with my brother and his daughter for lunch yesterday. It was very busy but, as always, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I went for chilli and rice, my brother had gammon, eggs and chips and my niece had fish fingers, chips and peas. The food arrived after a short time and was hot, fresh and tasty. Clean plates from everybody. I decided to have a 2nd pint of Aviator Ale with my dessert of Cherry crumble *Delicious, although I much prefer apple). My brother had salted caramel cheesecake, his daughter had chocolate brownie.and ice cream. We finished it all. Overall, another lovely visit and we will be back soon. Thank you Richard and staff. Great job.

Overpriced poor quality food and a lengthy wait. Avoid. Ordered a panini to takeaway, with a 25 minute wait and a disappointing serving of poor quality and quantity of food for a price at which you could have got much better at the likes of Starbucks / Costa. Avoid.

My 2 yr old is suddenly really into airplanes so we turned up on a whim to see what the place was like. It was not what I expected at all! A lovely little place serving, what felt like, everything for everyone. We were clearly disorganized and not being the easiest customers but we were met with patience and smiles. We sat by the window and both our boys were loving being cosy inside and watching the planes fly past the window while having snacks. We can't wait to go back and I'm looking forward to the summer when we can sit outside (the outdoor seating area was open and being used it was just a bit cold for us)I feel like this is a little gem even without the airfield!

Superb Sunday lunch.. Beef cooked perfectly & lamb also 👌 Will definitely be heading back to the Aviator very soon for Sunday dinner. Also their breakfast are excellent. I can vouch for that ☺️

·

Great spot for watching light aircraft and helicopters all accompanied by a coffee or a pint if you're not driving. Can sit inside or out on the benches in fine weather and plenty of parking also. A short drive around the perimeter of the airfield will take you to the Jet Age museum, small but well worth a look.

Good burger, great bike meet, lots of bikes, shame the summer is drawing to an end

We stopped for a meal but decided against that. We only had a drink there. The food looked to be well presented but our table was really sticky, despite looking clean. They mainly serve snacks, sandwiches, paninis etc but do have a small selection of meals as well. They were quite busy. You can sit and watch the planes and helicopters. There are interesting models up in the rafters of the building.

Lovely and friendly - 10/10 customer service! Atmosphere inside was chilled and relaxing but very warm, temperature-wise. All the waiters including the bar staff were complying with high Covid-19 regulations and hygiene standards!Generally, the food was delicious, but I was not too keen on the vegetables in the bowl. I was offered a high chair which was extremely helpful as I was there with my baby, but it could have done with a quick clean beforehand…There is parking right outside which is very convenient and seating options available both indoors and out! If sitting inside, there’s music and a TV as well as lots of decor on the walls and aircraft figures hanging down from the ceiling which are very cool!!It was a nice touch when my waiter came and asked me how I was finding everything and if I needed anything else.As the pub is facing the airfields, you can watch the aircrafts and helicopters which is a bonus!!Would definitely visit again and recommend. Thank you for your custom and hospitality!
