Had 2 meals here the first 1 was lovely, staff were really friendly and helpful.Unfortunately on our second visit on the Sunday evening, 3 ordered the roast dinners all came our cold. These were sent back which were then put in the microwave to warm up. Not the best meal, although the waitress was apologetic the chef didn't pop out to apologise even though we were their last customers. .Probably will not be visiting again

Needs a lot of work. Staff really good. First room needed a good clean and a lot of tlc. Second room bit better. But every time any one walked on floor above in annexe it sounded like a heard of elephants. Good breakfast.

A very comfortable stay right in the heart of historic Tewkesbury. My only slight cavil is that I would call this an inn, not a hotel. That's not meant as a slight - this place was exactly what I wanted - cosy, centrally-placed and unpretentious (and very reasonably-priced). But I think if you came expecting the fancy-pants level of facilities and service implied by the word "hotel" you might be disappointed. I'd say the accommodation is clean and warm, but basic. The building dates from the 1600s and the carpets and furnishings in the accommodation area may not be much younger ! Apart from breakfast (freshly-cooked and delicious), the restaurant serves pub grub, no more or less. If you're not expecting luxury and you want somewhere central, look no further ! The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady at breakfast. I loved it and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a bed and a base for seeing lovely Tewkesbury. But don't expect the Ritz.

Tired looking rooms and stairs but bed very comfy and room a decent size. Had a good sleep. Was quite cold in the room and the small heater didn’t really help much. Had a nice hot shower in the evening but woke up in the morning to no hot water at all. Breakfast very nice lots of choice to help yourself to including cereal, pastries, muffins, yoghurts, tea and coffee and juices the man taking our order was very nice, the cooked breakfast was very nice apart from the poached egg wasn’t great I’ll stick to fried next time 😂 would stay again and probably give another half star if we had hot water .

Came here for a long weekend away and was not disappointed. The room was perfect, very clean and tidy, the staff are lovely and the food and drinks are excellent. Very good prices too. Sunday roast is amazing!!

Had a meal here with my partner. Picked the valentine menu. Starter very good. Main course let them down. Quality was pretty good but the ckicken and leek pie had one piece of chicken. Hunters chicken was suppose to have gammon ( missing) also the garlic bread was missing. Will not go again.

Beautiful hotel. We're here to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is lovely, clean and very comfortable. The staff are so nice. Love the girl on reception. She funny, happy and helpful. Had a great meal in the restaurant . The scampi and chips was really nice and the portions are big. An absolutely beautiful place to stay and the Abbey is just across the road.
