The Gloucester Old Spot in Tewkesbury

Lovely dinner out at the Gloucester Old Spot. Not a great choice for my GF pescatarian diet but what I had was tasty – especially the dessert (charred pineapple with mango sorbet and coconut cream). Decent service, nice wine and surroundings.

Cracking pub just outside Cheltenham. Nice beer garden, restaurant inside was busy, but never felt overcrowded. We only had an hour for lunch, waiting staff sorted us all with meals and drinks quickly and efficiently. Food was all very nice and would definitely go again - next time hopefully not such a rush! Definitely recommended.

A brilliant pub! My go to qhen family come to town. Set in a really accessible location, and definitely bigger than it seems from the road. In cold weather a roaring fire inside and a fire pit outside to keep warm. Great food with specials changing all the time. Amazing service, and very accommodating with requests.

I would just like to thank the staff for being so friendly and bubbly! I met my parents here as a half way meeting point and would definitely have lunch here again. Food was great, they happily accommodated my dads special request for something and it didn’t go unnoticed just how lovely everyone was. Thank you from Faye.

Came here for lunch with friends, we all had young children with us. We were seated in a slightly separate bit which meant any fussy babies didn't disturb other people and there was plenty of space for a pram and 2 high chairs. The food was delicious and good sized portions. Staff were very friendly and understanding about the mess children can make! Great food and great, thoughtful service, will definitely come again!

We booked this at short notice. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff.The food was excellent and service was spot on. We were the last people in the restaurant and at no time were we made to feel rushed.I would highly recommend this pub/ restaurant and will definitely go again when we are back in the area.

We enjoyed our Christmas meal here and the food was extremely good, well cooked and plentiful. The service was excellent from start to finish and we were never left waiting for drinks or food.Will definitely be back soon!

Fantastic pub, with a wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful dining hall and delicious food. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Food came out quickly, weren't left waiting around at any point.

Overnight stay in our camper van. Lovely location, great food and cider. Couple of minutes drive from M5. Perfect pub.

First time visit, good stop on the M5 for a long journey. Friendly service, absolutely delicious food. The food arrived quickly, and the portions were a good size. The outdoor seating was lovely and sheltered. Couldn't ask for more, perfect Sunday lunch.
