An interesting old pub, Inn and restaurant, great food, friendly service and interesting locals to chat with. About 10 rooms to rent, one large suite for the romantics. Building from 15th century.

Football pub. Could do with some craft beer on tap, it’s not like there isn’t a bunch of local micro breweries in the local area. Food okay.

Prompt warm and friendly welcome at this beautiful old Inn in the centre of Winchcombe. Fabulous fire literally blazing in ancient inglenook fireplace, candles lit, comfy stylish shabby country French style seating carefully placed in one room; dining tables and chairs in other dining areas. Very welcoming and informal.Good choice on promptly delivered menus - light lunch or something more substantial catered for.Wine served in decent glasses, reasonably priced.BLT absolutely delicious, served with generous portion of skinny fries.Cheese sandwich not so good, too much pickle and rather too little cheese which was grated. No tomato as per menu. Also, it would be much better to have sandwiches and lovely sidecsakad served on cold rather than very hot plates! Our feedback concerning the cheese sandwich and plates was very courteously and efficiently dealt with. All in all a great place for welcome, service, ambience, food quality and value for money. Highly recommended. We will return.

Always excellent maintained beers and wide selection. Warm welcome and a real fire in the bar. Excellent menu a cut above usual pub food.

A delightful restaurant/ pub. With a heart warming log fire and so much history, great tasting food and ale. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, so friendly. We live only five minutes away, it'll soon be my local. Will return on a regular basis. Give this Wonderful establishment a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We love it here - we've stayed a few times over the past few years. The place has loads of character, consistently great food, and really lovely staff. Any complaints are minor and probably unfair ... e.g. it would be nice to have more seating in the snug by the fire, as that's the best place to be. And some of the rooms are better than others to stay in, one was fairly noisy. But overall, it's great and we look forward to returning.

Went here for a coffee. The coffee was nice and the staff were friendly but we had to go up to order the coffee which I wasn’t too keen on… would have preferred table service! The interior is old fashioned but quite cool and cosy! It’s also dog friendly which is great!

After being unable to park at Broadway Tower we dropped in this pub. Ideal short stay car park gives access to rear of pub garden. Very helpfull for me being disabled. They allowed our dog in. Had wonderful well cooked and well presented meals. Very helpfull staff. We will be back for a meal again most certainly. Lovely welcoming place to have a meal and a drink

Disappointing Sunday lunch. Glum staff, tough beef, cold and al dentissimus veg and that dreeadful 'discretionary tip' automatically added to the bill. The wines were excellent but overall, £95 for a disappointing lunch for 2 people is not good value. Avoid Sundays!
