Who doesn't love a pub by a river?!?! Loads of outdoor seating by a very quiet road. The table service is very good. Beautiful position at a lazy bend on the Severn. Wonderful atmosphere on a summer afternoon.

From the moment we walked in the staff were amazing. Welcomed in by the manager Andy we felt like locals, having never visited the pub before!We arrived for a few drinks at 3pm And stumbled out at 8.30. The food, atmosphere and staff were second to none.Special mention goes to Andy and Hannah who served us all evening, they were always busy but found the time to have a chat with us, what a lovely team.Thanks for making our weekend away memorable by making us feel welcome at The Red Lion

Best Sunday roast ever (apart from my Nans!) Lovely location by the river, close to footpaths for a walk with the dog to build up an appetite. The staff were all so friendly & welcoming an absolute credit to the Pub. Andrew in particular made every effort to welcome my dog with treats that were gratefully received & he can be a particular pooch! Only here for a long weekend but if I lived locally this would be a favoured haunt!

Great pub, full of lovely staff. Their Sunday lunch is worth the trip alone, & I can't wait to visit when the weather is warmer, secure a table on the river bank and just watch the world go by. Brilliant.

Very pretty place to stop, right next to the river, to get some food. Food came out very shortly after it was ordered, and was tasty.

Good walk along the river bank footpath from Haw Bridge campsite. Excellent service and friendly staff. Good beer and gf chips. They have a good table ordering system worked out with quick delivery.
