We had a delicious afternoon tea here today which was truely scrumptious. I am dairy intolerant which they totally catered for and the service was brilliant. Would totally recommend and looking forward to returning.

Food was good, however service was very disappointing and the waiting staff seemingly lost interest in providing any form of service after coming to the realisation that we were not consuming alcohol. This meant that despite the good food, the evening was slightly soured and on this basis we wouldn't return.

Lovely set lunch in very pleasant restaurant. Mackerel x 2 to start followed by baked cod on smashed potatoes and veg plus blade of beef off the bone with puy lentils and roast veg. Tempted by desserts but resisted Would return

Spectacular evening from the moment we arrived through the door. Such a wonderful welcome with superb service. The cuisine was exquisite....every one of our seven courses was truly divine and beautifully presented. Each wine complemented the dish perfectly.Well done Matthew and team and Amelia. You aced it!!!

Fantastic little B&B with a fabulous afternoon tea and great dining. We stayed at the terrace room, which was just fabulous with gorgeous view. Moreover, the place is run by genuinely the most helpful staff I'd encountered. Thank you Gonzalo and Rachel for taking care of us so joyfully and kindly. We feel incredibly privileged and spoilt.

Today I ate two very good quality courses for lunch. The smoked salmon starter was delicious with mini capers and a devilishly hot horseradish cream. The roast cod with buttery potatoes and a light cream tomato sauce was really good. Many of the party opted for the roast beef which was tasty though difficult to cut due to dull knives. I tried the ravioli and was unimpressed, drastically under cooked and bland...needs improving team. Altogether a very pleasant visit, thank you.

My first visit and I will be back. I enjoyed a 3 course A la Carte menu. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The staff were courteous and professional. They have made a big effort with the Christmas decorations which all added to a wonderful experience.

Wesley House Restaurante and Hotel in Winchcombe (Gloucestershire) is a 15th century Merchant’s House in this historic Anglo Saxon town. The Wine Bar & Grill offers a lively atmosphere with an extensive cellar and delicious dishes in a relaxed setting. They also have been awarded a AA 2 Rosette Award.Diners can enjoy a great local steak from Martins Meats, expertly cooked and perfectly complemented by a delicious glass of rioja, and a distinctly Spanish feel. Wesley House is a lovely, almost fine dining, restaurant on the Main Street in Winchcombe. We sat and had a drink by the fire while they took our order which was a really nice way to start the night.Moved into the main dining area for our starters and the room is a little over the top with fairy lights. Generally, the feel of the place isn’t overly consistent - couldn’t quite understand what they were going for.Started with a baked Camembert and bread. The cheese could have been warmer, but it was tasty nonetheless. And the bread was crispy, fresh and delicious. For mains, we ordered a sirloin steak and the halibut. Both were really well cooked and delicious. Healthy servings too, considering it’s quite upmarket. The food was really good, the service was nice, but it was a little overpriced for the quality. Still a very nice place for a weekend dinner!
