Good choice of drinks, very good dinner menu and excellent staff. Booked a table for a large group (with a dog) and stayed the entire evening.

Cosy ambience and atmosphere enhanced by the friendliness of the staff. We had the Chateaubriand, on the steak night deal which was superb and compared very well against places such as Gaucho's. No hesitation in recommending the food and overall experience.

Possibly the worst service I have ever received. All the foh staff literally ignoring you if you asked a question, no acknowledgement that they heard you. Only one person seemed to be able to take orders and he had the personality of a fish, no smiles no happiness. Had to go up to the bar 2 times to order drinks and still they took 5 mins to come over. Only saving grace was the food was delightful. Staff need an education on hospitality

My wife and I stopped for a pint of the wonderful Cheltenham Gold, in between house viewings, and loved the pubs quiet background music choices and friendly banter. Hopefully we will become locals if we succeed with our house purchase in Winchcombe Town.

The room was fine but the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment, the breakfast 😫 was very disappointing. Hopefully the work going on outside continues inside, but the room/bathroom was nice and clean.

We went 'economy' with the booking but it was fun and really good value .Bit vague on the shared bathroom aspect on the website ( maybe ensuites are overrated? ...not) but our room was lovely and, for £48 a night for two inc great breakfast it's fantastic .All good.

Lovely big room, warm friendly atmosphere, great food & really dog friendly. Would definitely like to revisit. There is no parking here anymore, but there is a car park not v far away £1 for 24 hrs

We were here for both breakfast and evening meal on New Year's Eve.Breakfast was decent enough at pub standards although a little over priced for the portion served...understandable as their overheads must be relatively high. The evening meal however was very very disappointing. Portions were ridiculously small (the tarte tatin resembled a burnt pop tart and the pate was the smallest wafer thin slice I have ever been served) and the belly pork was lukewarm at best. They forgot the side dishes and when delivered they advised they had run out of portions.Lastly we were being rushed throughout dinner although it was NYE and we were originally informed we had the table for the whole evening.Maybe they were short of staff and food produce on NYE and just trying to do their best in difficult times but not apologising for any of the above was very disappointing (bordering arrogant) which is why we left and saw in the New Year at home instead. When the service industry is struggling I believe they need to step up a gear if they want customers to keep coming back rather than making excuses. My fiancé asked me not to say anything at the time as she owns her own restaurant but I felt it appropriate to leave a review this morning so some understanding and lessons can perhaps be learned.

Very friendly staff and great service. The food was fantastic with large portions that were beautifully presented. I will certainly visit again as they had plenty of options that I still want to try. If I could give six stars I would.

Stayed at the White Hart Inn a couple of weeks ago. My room was comfortable as well as clean, and the food provided downstairs every evening was amazing. But what really made this place 5 stars for me was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, especially Dom, Paddy and Anthony. I have no complaints whatsoever. Great hotel and restaurant with a great team!
