Amici in Torbay

I had such a lovely time out for dinner in Torquay with the girls from work - plenty of drinks, nibbles and giggles, with GORGEOUS Vegan food! 🤭❤.The restaurant itself has such a modern aesthetic with a great atmospheric 'buzz' 💃💃I was so happy to find that Amici has seperate Gluten-free and Vegan menus with options for all 3 courses AND sides! How awesome is that!!?? 🤣 Talk about being spoilt for choice! 🤤The Bruschetta Pomodoro was a beautiful dish to start with fresh tomato, basil and Olive oil smothering 4 slices of beautifully toasted garlic ciabatta 🤤For my Main course I chose the Linguine Vegetariane which was soooooo deliciously flavoursome! Linguine pasta sautéed with spinach, mushroom, courgette & cherry tomatoes cooked in white wine with fresh chilli & garlic😋Finally for dessert I chose what we lovingly nicknamed the "Bruce cake" after the giant cake served in the movie Matilda 🤣 and we weren't wrong... The slIce was HUGE! 😛🍰The fluffy sponge cake is usually served alongside a lovely array of fresh fruit, but due to my Blueberry allergy mine was served with a scoop of fresh Italian Lemon Sorbet 🍋The cake was absolutely divine and the sorbet was tangy, sweet and refreshing - such a great combination which actually complimented eachother so well! The sorbet was also a beautiful palate cleanser to finish off the night 🍧

Had an amazing night. Authentic tasting food, service was exceptional, wine was a delightful compliment to the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.My only concern is how much food I was able to eat in a single setting in this establishment.

Very attentive staff, professional service. I was expecting a tiny fancy bit of lamb for my main, but it was this huge lamb shank the just melted off the bone. Very filling and superbly cooked, highly recommend this place for a fancy evening of food.Good portions, good staff, worth every penny.

The food was absolutely delicious, presentation was was well delivered, and the service was ok, it could have been better. The atmosphere did not suit the type of dining, dining was classy and high end, but the atmosphere felt like a lesser choice for there decor. I felt like I was in an old diner.

Came in for a quick dinner, lovely attentive staff and amazing food! Thank you, one of the best lasgnes I've ever had!

I'm giving this place full 5 stars. Myself and my fiance went here for a meal and it was brilliant. The venue looked very clean and well done. The staff were very nice and cheerful.The food was amazing. I had the seafood risotto whilst my fiance had the mushroom risotto. They tasted amazing. Generous portions. We ordered dessert. The desserts were huge. They were really nice.Would definitely come here again.

We really enjoyed it here, the food was outstanding with lovely friendly staff! You will need to pre book as it gets very busy! Lovely modern layout with a daily specials board on top of the nice selection of starters, pasta, pizza, mains and desserts. They also have a good selection of wines available. Would definitely go again!

Nice restaurant with great staff. However, the food wasn't the best and they only made pretty basic recipes such as bolognese. As a person who likes italian food I expected something better. The gelato was amazing and they were dog friendly too.

We came here for my mums 50th birthday meal and were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was so tasty! Decent price for the quality too. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if in the area!

Vibrant Italian restaurant. Great ambience. Contemporary ambience. Good service, great choice of food. Pizzas and pastas lovely. Nice place to meet friends or for a large celebration
