Angels in Torbay

Great breakfast. Cheese on toast was a bit too much of a doorstop and my partner would have liked something smaller and better priced, it was a bit much for what it was. Overall though a pleasant eating experience in a greenhouse pod.

I was given a voucher for my birthday and my daughter came with me.We went for Afternoon Tea on Saturday.It was absolutely fantastic. I was very impressed by the standards for Covid prevention. In fact l thought the cafe was much better arranged with the tables spaced out more and plastic screens between tables.There was a great selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes and the scones were to die for. Don't hesitate to go to the cafe.

Always a fabulous place to visit. This is a full Angels cream tea, but their hot food is good, especially the breakfasts. Lots of choice, even on the limited menu so be prepared for some serious decision making! Lovely mixed crockery, so its exciting to see what you get there, as well as in the choice of scones, sandwiches and cakes.

Wonderful afternoon tea with superb views. The staff were very busy but were very friendly. The scones are huge and very filling. Had the ginger scone with the ginger jam. This is worth a try.

My favourite place for a cream tea....no tables available so sat here and enjoyed my mini cream tea ( white chocolate scones....heaven ) Excellent service when you get china plates in your takeaway bag...to be returned after of course. Thank you Angels be back soon....Highly recommended 💕😋 💕

Superb tea shop in Babacombe. Great location by Babacombe downs. Excellent afternoon tea with freshly made well filled sandwiches of your choice ( toasted if you wish), amazing choice if scones with clotted cream and choice of jams and great selection of generous slices of home made cakes One of the best afternoon teas I have had

Amazingly authentic cream tea.In Devon on holiday we were craving a cream tea, alot of places we past on on the seafront looked like the scones came from packets.Quick look online, we found Angels, lovely location onto of a cliff with amazing views.We hadn't booked and it looked very busy, it was pouring with rain and they only had seating outside, we sat outside anyway under a parasol.Had two scones cream teas each. They said any more cream or jam just ask. We had loads spare and took it all home.Couldn't get through the second scone as they were mazzive.Lovely home made scones. Massive! Recommended to just get one! Swapped my tea for a coffee, not a problem at all.Even gave us boxes to take away what we couldn't eat.Highly recommend this place. A+A+

Probably the best scones in the world. Fresh, delicious and blowing your mind. Highly recommend. Very good coffee too. Must visit place. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Lovely absolutely lovely the scones cream jam and tea were wonderful.We sat inside as it had only just reopened following Covid 19 in July 2020. I had a honey ham and cheese sandwich and scone and tea.They were lovely the wonderfull girl serving was Lauren who has worked there for 5 years.She has great customer service skills wonderful eyes and smile to match.I would recommend Angel's to anyone the fruit scone was awesome and I will return for sure.My only advice is the price of a sandwich (only reason not a 5*) was steep like the walk up from the beach.Also, I returned again later in July and September again the scones service and tea were excellent.When I returned again in June 2021 I really felt that I had just been mugged at £2.25 for a Diet Pepsi which was actually a CAN of pop.The quality of the food like the service really is excellent.Well worth a visit though.
