Hidden away jem. Fantastic little cafe with an amazing vlsea view. Toilets were lovely and clean. Well worth the trek down the track.

·

Friendly service and lovely coffee! Worth the walk down to this stunning cove! Arm yourself with ice cream for the walk back up! Lol

·

Breakfast was delicious and crashing waves with a breath-taking view of the cove. Food was big portions and mugs of tea big and steaming!

Technically not "dine-in" as it's more of an outdoor cafe and the seating is all open air, but it's hard to beat the view or atmosphere here. There's no access by vehicle and it's a steep walk down and up so it's tricky to get down to if you have mobility issues, but I'd recommend visiting if you like to sit by the sea or having good food. Like, really good food. The Big Rock Burger was one of the best I've had.The prices aren't the cheapest, but they're definitely not the most expensive, especially for the quality of what you get.I even got items that aren't technically on the menu. Couldn't fault the service.Anstys Cove isn't a sandy beach, or even a beach you can really sit on. Want to paddle board, swim, kayak, scuba dive, snorkel, or just throw stones? This is great and the cafe makes it 100x better.Definitely going again.

We moved to the area at the end of September 21 and visited for the first time only to find it had just closed for the season. We have been waiting patiently for the last 7 months for it to reopen and we are not disappointed. Great selection of food, drink and snacks. The team working there are very friendly so I would certainly recommend a visit. I also recommend trying the IPA on draft, it’s fantastic.

Fabulous location, lovely staff and a good service. The food is fairly standard but its all about the views and people. However, if you don't want to walk down and up a very steep hill then this is not the place for you.

Lovely little Cafe, if your Dairy Free then go for rhe oat milk in your coffee. Also has little gifts on the counter, lovely views an very quiet

Beautiful dog friendly cove with a great cafe. A bit pricey as you'd expect for a cafe with such an amazing view but really great service and tasty, hot food which me, my husband and children enjoyed. Outside seating with limited cover for the huge downpour we experienced however staff worked hard and got our orders in and served up really fast. Will be going back but shhhh.....don't tell anyone else about it😉

I love anywhere that is near the sea. This place has a very steep hill to walk down, possibly about 3 different ways to get there. One side has been closed off to the public due to the cliffside possibly falling. They have kayaking and paddle boarding, the cafe was nice, ordered a hot chocolate which was very nice.

Excellent for snorkeling and kayaking. Hire a kayak for £10.00 an hour, or double /twin for £16.00. Also available are paddle boards, Cafe and toilet facilities. The cafe has a good selection of food and drinks - including alcoholic, at a very good price. Eg 1/4 pound burger and chips with salad, and various sandwiches/paninis for £5.95. This is our first visit here, but definitely not our last. Kids and adults alike, will enjoy a half or full day out at Anstey's cove.
